The LinkTap ValveLinker DC Converter trans-
forms a DC input range of 9-24V to a regulated
9V DC output, enabling the ValveLinker
products to be powered by various external DC
power sources, such as:
■ Solar panels with built-in rechargeable
batteries (9-24V DC output, battery
capacity recommended to be greater
than 5000mAh)
■ 110V/220V AC-to-9V/12V DC power
adapters
■ Any DC power source with an output
voltage between 9V and 24V
By using this DC converter, you can conve-
niently power your ValveLinker devices from a
wide range of compatible DC power sources,
providing flexibility and versatility in your
irrigation system setup.
Specifications:
Input voltage: 9-24V DC (>0.5 A)
Output voltage: 9V DC
DC socket size: 5.5 x 2.1 mm
Installation:
1. Remove the ValveLinker's default battery
compartment and any installed 9V batteries, if
present.
2. Firmly press the 9V battery clip of the
ValveLinker DC Converter onto one pair of the
battery contacts in the ValveLinker.
3. To minimize wire tangling, turn the battery
compartment 2-3 rounds clockwise before
attaching it to the ValveLinker.
4. Screw the battery compartment onto the
ValveLinker counterclockwise until it is securely
in place.
Attention:
1. No Batteries: When using an external
power source, do not insert an ordinary
9V battery or a rechargeable battery in the
battery compartment. Doing so will damage
the battery or even result in battery explo-
sion.
2. Battery Indicator: When the external power
supply is used, the "remaining battery power
indicator" on the LinkTap app will always show
100%. It is the user's responsibility to regularly
check the remaining power of the external
power supply (e.g., solar panels with built-in
rechargeable batteries).
