1.0 Tools Required
LSA-Plus Insertion Tool
Flat Bladed Screw Driver
Spanner To Suit 8 & 22mm AIF
Patch Panel Outrigger (single hole fixing)
Wire Strippers
Wire Cutters
Wall Fixings (x4)
2.0 Installation Considerations
The cabinet can be mounted either way up,
this allows the door to be hinged as
required.
Suitable wall fixings (x4) are required to
fasten the cabinet to a wall.
Ensure cable bend radius is maintained
greater than 4 x cable dia.
Cable ties should never be over-tightened
over-tightening could impair the
performance of the product.
Note: For additional safety it is
recommended that the MiniLAN is fully
populated with panels - therefore
Blank Panels should be used where
necessary.
Secure the cabinet on a dry, flat, surface in
preparation for installation.
If 'Hinge Frame' (6532/1/012/00) will be
used with the cabinet, consult frame
installation details before commencing
work.

3.0 Installation
(Panel now shown populated for clarity)
All
Fit outrigger (as detailed in outrigger
at
instruction sheet) and secure Patch Panel
onto fixings.
Route cables from
-
pulling through an excessof 400mm for
cable management.
4.0 Earthing Procedures

To upper earth stud

Bond all Patch Panel earth
cabinet earth stud using the earth lead &
fixings provided.
Note: upper Patch Panel must be attached
to a different cabinet
lowest Patch Panel.
Bond the cabinet earth stud to ground
using a suitable sized flat earth braid.
Refer to 5.0 for earthing of Side Panels.

5.0 Assembly
Fit the supplied earth lead to the side
panel and fasten the opposite end to the
cabinet
Assemble each side panel to the frame
using the 4 push rivets supplied. The earth
rear of Patch Panel
stud must protrude into the cabinet. The
rivets can be removed by prising out the
centre shaft (using a flat screw driver) and
removing the rivet.
Fit the door lock and fasten using screw,
nut & washer supplied.
