 Remove the protective cap.
 Press the ON/OFF switch to turn the
pen on.

 Immerse the pen in solution up to
the maximum immersion level.
 Stir gently and wait for the
measurement to stabilize.
Displayed measurement is temperature

compensated.

 Read the value on the display.

 Immerse the pen, up to the maximum
immersion level, in the appropriate
calibration solution (M10080B)
corresponding to 800 ppm.
BACK
 Allow the reading to stabilize.
 Use a small screwdriver to turn
the calibration trimmer so that the
reading on display matches the
solution value of 800 ppm (typically
at 25 °C / 77 °F).

 Calibration is now complete.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

 Push the pin to release the battery
compartment.
 Pull out the battery compartment.
 Remove the old batteries.
 Insert four new 1.5V batteries in the
battery compartment while paying
attention to the correct polarity.
Note: Do not mix old and new batteries.

Batteries should only be replaced in a
non-hazardous area using the battery
type specified in this instruction manual.
RECOMMENDATION
Before using this product, make sure that
it is entirely suitable for the environment
in which they are used.
The pins at the end of the sensor are
800
sensitive to electrostatic discharges.
Avoid touching this metal band at all
times.
To avoid damages or burns, do not
perform any measurement in microwave
ovens.
