Allgemeine Informationen
Nicht zugefeste Rohrkupplung für
alle Rohrmaterialien.
Betriebsdruck / Pression de service / Working pressure:
EPDM, NBR, FPF/FKM STRAUB-FLEX 1 / STRAUB-OPEN-FLEX 1

Gemäss allgemeinen Richtlinien ist die Rohrleitung vor Inbetriebnahme mit einem 1.5-fachen Prüfdruck zu
prüfen / Selon les directives générales la conduite est à contrôler avant la mise en service avec une pression
d'essai de 1,5 fois la pression de service / According to general guidelines, the pipeline must be checked with a
test pressure of 1.5 times of the working pressure, before commissioning

Zusätzlicher Korrosionsschutz
Bei Korrosionsgefahr empfehlen
wir Schrumpfmuffen oder
Korrosionsschutzbänder zu
verwenden.
Anwendung
Für nicht zugfeste Kupplungen
immer geeignete Befestigungen
der Rohre vorsehen.
STRAUB Rohrkupplungen sind
wartungsfrei, d.h. Schrauben
nicht nachziehen.
Um eine fehlerfreie Funktion
zu gewährleisten, müssen
alle STRAUB Kupplungen mit
einem Drehmomentschlüssel
angezogen werden. Das benötigte
Drehmoment steht auf dem
Kupplungsgehäuse.
STRAUB Kupplungen können
keine Scherkräfte aufnehmen.
Entsprechend dem Kupplungstyp
sind geeignete Festpunkte
und Führungen für das Rohr
einzubauen.

Raccord non auto-buté pour tous
les matériaux de tubes.
Manchette d'étanchéité
EPDM pour eau, air et solides
NBR pour gaz, huile, pétrole, fuel:
identification par l'étiquette jaune

FPM/FKM pour ozone, oxygène,
acides (inapplicable pour vappeur)
-20°C bis +100°C
NBR: -20°C bis +80°C
-20°C bis +180°C
Supplémentaire protection anti-
corrosion
En cas de risque de corrosion,
nous recommandons d'utiliser des
manchons thermo-rétractables
ou des bandes en goudron ou
plastique pour une protection
efficace.
Application
Installer des points fixes et
supports pour les raccords non
auto-buté.
STRAUB raccords sont sans
service d'entretien, ne jamais
resserrer les vis.
Tous les raccords STRAUB sont
impérativement à serrer avec une
clef dynamométrique. Le couple
de serrage nécessaire est prescrit
sur le raccord.
Les raccords STRAUB ne peuvent
pas reprendre des forces de
cisaillement. Selon le type
de raccords, il faut prévoir des
points fixes et des guidages pour
supporter la conduite.

General information
Pipe coupling without axial
restraint for all pipe materials.
Ø 48.3 - 168.3 mm:
Sealing gasket
EPDM for water, air and solids
NBR for gas, oil, fuel and
hydrocarbons: identification by
yellow NBR sticker
FPM/FKM for ozone, oxygen,
acids (not applicable for steam)
Additional corrosion protection
If the risk of corrosion exists, we
recommend using shrink sleeves
or protection tapes for the pipe
couplings.
Application
For pipe joints without axial res-
traint use anchoring points.
STRAUB pipe couplings are
maintenance-free, never retighten
screws.
All STRAUB couplings require the
correct use of a torque wrench
for a safe and proper installation.
STRAUB couplings must be
torqued to the value specified on
each coupling. Failure to do so can
result in serious injury or death!
STRAUB couplings are not de-
signed to accommodate shear
loading. Pipes must be properly
anchored and supported.
