operAtion - General information
The appliance is intended only for domestic use, not for professional use.

operAtion - before use for the first time
1. Remove the packaging.
2. C lean all the accessories to remove any residues that may be left from the manufacturing process (see
"Cleaning and maintenance").
T he appliance may emit a little smoke and a characteristic smell when you switch it on for the first time.
This is normal and will stop on its own. Make sure there is sufficient ventilation.
operAtion - before you start styling
•
B e sure your hair is always washed. When your hair contains leftovers of fixation products, it can lead to
sticky hair afterwards. Wash your hair with moisturising shampoo and conditioner (prefer one which you
don't have to wash out).
•
Be sure that the hair is completely dried up before you start styling.
operAtion - Use
1. Make sure that the On/0ff switch (2) of the appliance is switch to OFF .
2. Insert the plug in the wall socket.
3. Putt the On/0ff switch to ON
operAtion - styling
1. Take a little lock of hair and comb it through.
2. H old this lock of hair and put the straightener at
the beginning of the hair (see figure 2).
3. C lose the straightener and pull it slowly to the
end of the hair.
4. R epeat this by every hair lock until you styled
all your hair.

S tart at the back of your head and put your
remaining hair up. When you work all the
way up, you will be sure of it you have
straightened all your hair.
•
D on't take too much hair in once. Smaller
locks are easier to style.
