INTRODUCTION
Cycling is an excellent activity that allows you to improve your cardiovascular ability and respiratory health whilst also toning your entire body: buttocks, quadriceps, hamstrings, calves, lower back and abdominal muscle strength. We recommend that you work out
1 to 3 times a week, for sessions lasting between 20min and 1hr, to achieve expected results.
SETTINGS
WARNING: you must get off the bike in order to make any adjustments.
1.
ADJUST HEIGHT OF THE SEAT:
For effective exercise, the saddle must be at the correct height. When pedalling, your knees should be slightly bent at the moment when the pedals are at their lowest position. To adjust the saddle, unscrew the setting
wheel a few turns, without removing it completely, and pull its head to disengage the saddle tube pin. Adjust the seat to the correct height, release the setting wheel into one of the saddle tube adjustment holes, then fully
tighten it. WARNING: Ensure that the button is reinstalled in one of the saddle tube holes and fully tighten it. Never exceed the maximum height indicated on the tube.
2.
LEVELLING THE BIKE:
If the bike is unstable, on the back feet, rotate the end caps on the tube.
3.
ADJUSTING THE RESISTANCE
You can manually adjust the resistance by rotating the resistance adjustment control (from 1, the lowest, to 8, the highest).
MOVING
Stand in front of your product, place one foot on the front foot of the bike then pull the handlebars towards you to tilt the bike forwards in order to put the transport wheels in contact with the ground. It is important to keep
+
-
your back straight while doing this. When you are moving your exercise bike, most of the effort must be made by your arms and legs.

* NB: the battery compartment on your console is not designed to have a cover.
TROUBLESHOOTING:
If you notice any abnormal distances or speeds:
Check the switch on the back of the console is set to VM for exercise bike / VE for cross trainer.
NB: On an exercise bike, each pedal turn corresponds to a distance of 4 metres, on a cross trainer it corresponds to a distance of 1m60 (these values correspond to average biking and walking values).
If you find that your counter does not indicate the correct units of measurement for distance:
Check the switch on the back of the console is in the MI position for display in miles, KM for display in kilometres.
If the counter does not turn on:
Check that the batteries are correctly positioned (+/-).
If the problem persists, start again with new batteries.
Check the cable connection at the back of the console and inside the frame
If the problem persists, check the table on the last page of your user guide.
If a noise emanates from inside the case and you cannot adjust the intensity level, do not attempt to repair it. Refer to the last page of the manual.
