4.6 Confirm Addition: Find My will ask for confirmation to add
your Locator to your Apple ID—tap "Continue."
4.7 Complete Setup: Tap "Finish" and your Locator will be set u
p and ready to be connected to the item you wish to locate, e.
g., your keys.
4.8 Unwanted Tracking Detection: If any Find My network acce
ssory separated from its owner is seen moving with you over ti
me, you'll be notified in one of two ways: (1) If you have a iPho
ne, iPad, Find My will send a notification to your Apple device.
This feature is available on iOS or iPadOS 14.5 or later. 2) If you
don't have an iOS device or smartphone, a Find My network ac
cessory that isn't with its owner for a period of time will emit a
sound.
5. Locate Your Item
When your item is nearby, tap "Play Sound" to make your
Locator beep, helping you find it. If it is out of range, you can
find the Locator's Last Known Location.
6. Notifications
You will receive a notification when you leave your Locator
behind and it's no longer in range of your device. Note:
"Notify When Found" can only be activated when your
Locator is out of range.
