INSTALLATION GUIDE
1. BRACKETS
The brackets are electrical zincified without mounting holes. Holes are
made on installation to prevent unnecessary holes.
Each bracket is installed with at least 6 x M 14 x ...8.8 bolts together
with flat washers of 200 HB hardness.
The full height of the frame member should be used for the mounting.
The weight of the tank requires that the frame member is reinforced by a
plate on the inside. See the vehicle manufacturer's instructions.
1a. Normal mounting
Install directly against the frame member with bolt distances as illustrated.
1b. Low mounting
Extend using 50x50x6 angle section so that the full height of the frame
member can be used. The brackets are then mounted on the angle section
as illustrated. Reinforce the inside of the frame member using a 6 mm plate
with rounded off corners.
Do not make holes in the angle sections for the upper mounting bolt
for the bracket strap. If the strap is to be replaced the brackets must be
removed.
1c. Extra low mounting
Extend using 100x50x8 angle profiles which are welded together.
Install the bracket using 8 x bolts. Otherwise according to Low mounting.
2. BRACKET STRAPS
Two of the three bracket straps are installed near the ends of tanks where
the strength is greatest.
It is important that the bracket straps are not overtightened, they may
damage the tank. Always use the supplied rubber inlay between the tank
and the bracket.

4. RE TURN OIL FILTER
Install the return oil filter with a rubber gasket. The gasket is wide in order to
seal at low tightening torques. Recommended tightening torque 10-12 Nm.
When changing filters only the cap of the filter holder is opened.
5. BREATHER FILTER
The filter is installed well protected from dust and moisture. A recommend-
ed place is between the cab and the front member.
The connectors for the hose have 1" internal thread on the tank and ¾"
internal thread on the breather filter. The hose must be routed such that it
does not try to twist when the fittings are tightened.

MAINTENANCE
OIL FILTER
After new installation the filter must first be replaced after a maximum of
50 operating hours.
The filter is then changed if specifically indicated, periodically or at least
twice a year according to the following instructions:
• Shut off the hydraulic system and bleed the filter holder
• Clean thoroughly around the filter
• Open the holder by unscrewing the cap
• Lift the filter element out of the holder and dismantle the element from
the filter
• Clean the components and replace the gaskets if necessary
• Check that the new filter designation matches the old one
• Lubricate the gaskets and threads to install the new filter with the
element
• Install the filter element in the holder and screw on the cap
• Check for leakage and start the hydraulic system carefully, slowly
increasing to normal operating pressure
Note that the used filter insert is considered to be hazardous waste
and must be disposed accordingly.
BREATHER FILTER
The filter is the "spin on" type and is replaced by unscrewing the whole
filter from the mounting. Replacement should occur at the same time as
the oil filter is replaced.
If the working environment is very dusty the air filter must be changed
more often.
• Clean thoroughly around the filter
• Remove the filter by unscrewing from the mounting.
• Check that the new filter designation matches the old one
• Lubricate the new filter's gasket and screw in by hand sight glass
SIGHT GLASS
To change the sight glass:
• Shut off the hydraulic system
• Check that the oil level is lower than lowest screw on the sight glass
• Remove the sight glass and clean the mounting area and the threads
on the tank
• Install the new sight glass. Tighten to 10-12 Nm
• Fill the tank with oil and check for leakage
OIL VOLUME
At the correct oil volume the oil is visible at the upper marking of the sight
glass.
When the oil level is lower than the upper marking the oil level must be
topped up
