HOW THE SOLAR LIGHT WORKS
Using LED technology and powered by the sun, this solar light is ideal for
highlighting garden contours, entrance areas, pathways and driveways. During the
day, the solar panel converts solar power into energy and stores it in the
rechargeable battery. At night, the light turns on automatically and uses energy
stored in the battery. The duration of the illumination will depend on your
geographical location, weather conditions and seasonal light availability.
OPERATION INSTRUCTION
1. Selecting you location
Selecta mounting ocation that will receive full sunlight as many hours in the day
as possible.
Shady locations will influence the battery charge, even partial shade will greatly
hinder charging and may shorten the working time of the light at night.
The light should not be placed near other light sources such as street lights. This
may cause the light to turn off as there is a sensor inside which is activated by the
surrounding brightness.
2. Activate the device
Turn on the ON/OFF switch inside to activate the device, unlock the battery and the
lighting system.
3. First time use
The battery is advised to be charged before the first time use.
Place the solar panel in full direct sunlight for a few hours before first time use.
Light will achieve optimum light output after 8 hours exposure to full sunlight,
enabling the battery lisle to fully charge.

Warning:
Keep the device away from fire, water and moist places in order to
avoid explosion, leakage, moisture. No one except professional
technicians should attempt to disassemble the charger in order to
avoid damaging the charger.

f your solarlight does not automatically turn on at night, it may be caused by one of the
following conditions:
ON/OFF switch is still in the OFF position.
2. Battery is not sufficiently charged.
3. Solarlight might be too close to another nighttime light source, including
another so ar light.
The solar panels may be dirty limiting their exposure to the sun and not

allowing the battery to fully charge. Note; this will shorten the life of the
battery and may cause the light to malfunction. Clean solar panels regularly
with a dampened doth or paper towel if your solarlight only lights up for a few
hours each night, the battery may not be receiving enough sunlight to fully
charge.
