INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
BEFORE USE:
1. When transporting ladders on roof bars or in a truck, ensure they are suitably placed to prevent
damage and are securely tied down.
2. Inspect the ladder after purchase and before first use to confirm condition and operation of all
parts.
3. Visually check the ladder is not damaged and is safe to use at the start of each use.
4. For domestic use only.
5. Ensure the ladder is suitable for the task.
6. Do not use a damaged ladder, check every step prior to each use.
7. Remove any contamination from the ladder such as wet paint, mud, old or snow.
8. Always wear sturdy boots with good grip, never wear smooth- soled footwear when using the
ladder.
Assemble rail:
Insert the top rail into the sides.
Then use the screws provided to attach the side rails to the top rail and the ladder.
Positioning the ladder:
1. Ladder should be on an even, level and unmovable base.
2. When positioning the ladder take into account risk of collision with the ladder e.g from
pedestrians, vehicles or doors and windows where possible in the work area.
3. Identify any electric risks in the work area, such as overhead lines or other exposed electrical
equipment.
4. Ladder should be stood on its feet.
5. Ladder should not be positioned on slippery surface (such as ice, shiny surface or significantly
contaminated solid surface) unless additional effective measures are taken to prevent the ladder
from slipping or ensuring contaminated surface are sufficiently clean.
6. Ensure ladder is fully opened and locking devices are fully secured before each use.
7. Do not re- position the ladder from above.
