Please note that you need two free USB A ports to use the InLine® Basic
Desktop II, keyboard-mouse set.
INTENDED USE
The InLine® Basic Desktop II, keyboard-mouse set is an input device for PC or
Mac. The keyboard is connected via USB, 12 function keys provide quick access
to special applications.
General warnings
• Do not expose the InLine® Basic Desktop II, Keyboard-Mouse Set to excessive
heat.
• Protect from dust and moisture.
NON-INTENDED USE
The following is considered improper use in the sense of foreseeable misuse:
• Do not use the InLine® Basic Desktop II, Keyboard-Mouse Set outdoors.
• Do not disassemble the InLine® Basic Desktop II, Keyboard-Mouse Set.
APPLICATION / COMMISSIONING
The InLine® Basic Desktop II, keyboard-mouse set only requires a free USB port
on the computer for operation, the keyboard-mouse set is automatically recogni-
sed and initialised, no additional driver installation is necessary. The keyboard has
12 function keys that allow quick access to the following functions/programmes:
FN + F1 = Opens standard media player
FN + F2 = Volume -
FN + F3 = Volume +
FN + F4 = Silent
FN + F5 = Previous track
FN + F6 = Next track
FN + F7 = Play / Pause
FN + F8 = Stop
FN + F9 = Opens standard web browser
FN + F10 = Opens standard e-mail inbox
FN + F11 = Opens my computer
FN + F12 = Save to favourites

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Clean the InLine® Basic Desktop II, keyboard-mouse set with a dry, velvety cloth.
Do not use water or other cleaning fl uids that could damage the electronics.
DISPOSAL
Electrical and electronic equipment and batteries must not be disposed of
with household waste. The consumer is legally obliged to return electrical
and electronic equipment and batteries at the end of their service life to the desig-
nated public collection points or to the point of sale.
