BATTERY INSTALLATION
Your RESPONSE XR1-C Flashlight operates on two different lithium battery types.
A. TWO Disposable CR123 lithium batteries (included)
B. ONE Rechargeable button top protected 18650 lithium ion battery (not included)
1. Rotate Tail-Cap counterclockwise to loosen and remove. (Fig. 1)
2. Install CR123 batteries or 18650 battery in the correct orientation as shown (Fig. 1).
Make certain to observe the battery polarity.
3. Rotate T ail-Cap clockwise until hand tightened.

OPERATION
Your RESPONSE Series Flashlight provides two tactical lighting modes with Momentary-On
or Constant-On operation via tailcap switch (Fig.2)
HIGH -Flood area with intense bright light
LOW- Discreet / Close up illumination
Momentary-On :
HIGH: Depress switch half-way and hold.
Release to turn off.
LOW: Quickly depress switch half-way
twice and hold. Release to turn off.
Constant-On:
HIGH: Depress switch fully once to "click" on.
Depress fully again to "click" off.
LOW: Quickly depress switch half-way twice
then fully depress switch to "click" on.
Depress fully again to "click" off.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
1. Only use high quality branded batteries.
2. Do not mix battery types (rechargeable / disposable).
3. Do not mix old and new batteries.
4. Operating time for your flashlight depends on continuous
or intermittent use. Intermittent operation extends run time on batteries.
5. The CREE LED emitter is rated for 50,000 hours
6. Do not leave discharged batteries in the flashlight. This could lead
to permanent damage to the flashlight from battery leakage.
Remove batteries for long term storage.
7. It is normal for the flashlight's aluminum body to get
warm during continuous use.
LITHIUM BATTERY WARNING
Lithium batteries can explode,leak,or cause burns if not handled
appropriately. Please observe the following:
• Do not open batteries.
• Do not dispose of in a fire.
• Do not heat above 75ºC (167ºF).
• Do not expose contents to water.
• Do not attempt recharge disposable batteries.

INSTALLATION DE PILES
Votre lampe de poche RESPONSE XR1-C fonctionne avec deux types de piles au lithium différents
A. DEUX piles au lithium jetables CR123 (incluses)
B. UNE pile rechargeable au lithium-ion 18650 protégée avec un bouton supérieur (not incluse)
1. Dévissez le capuchon dans le sens contraire de l'horloge. (Illustration 1)
2. Installez les piles CR123 dans le sens indiqué (Illustration 1).
Assurez-vous de respecter la polarité des piles.
3. Vissez le capuchon à la main.

UTILISATION
Votre lampe de poche RAPID offre trois modes tactiques en fonctionnement momentané
ou continu activé par l'interrupteur sur le capuchon (Illustration 2).

ÉLEVÉ : Enfoncez l'interrupteur jusqu'à ce que vous ressentiez un
« clic » pour allumer la lampe. Enfoncez encore l'interrupteur jusqu'
à ce que vous ressentiez un « clic » pour éteindre la lampe.
FAIBLE : Enfoncez rapidement l'interrupteur à moitié chemin deux fois, puis
enfoncez-le complètement jusqu'à ce que vous ressentiez un « clic ».
Enfoncez encore l'interrupteur jusqu'à ce que vous ressentiez un « clic »
pour éteindre la lampe.
RENSEIGNEMENTS IMPORTANTS
1. Utilisez seulement des piles de grande qualité de marques reconnues.
2. Ne mélangez pas des piles de différents types (rechargeables et jetables).
3. Ne mélangez pas des piles usées avec des piles neuves.
4. L'autonomie de votre lampe de poche varie entre une utilisation continue et une
utilisation intermittente. Une utilisation intermittente prolonge l'autonomie des piles.
5. L'émetteur à DEL de CREE a une durée de vie estimée de 50 000 heures.
6. Ne laissez jamais des piles épuisées dans la lampe de poche. Les fuites de piles
peuvent causer des dommages irréparables à la lampe de poche. Retirez les piles
pour ranger la lampe de poche à long terme.
7. Il est normal que le boîtier en aluminium de la lampe de poche devienne chaud
pendant une utilisation continue.
Cet appareil numérique de la classe B est conforme à la norme NMB-003 du Canada.
AVERTISSEMENT CONCERNANT LA PILE AU LITHIUM
Les piles au lithium risquent d'exploser, de fuir et de causer des brûlures
si elles ne sont pas correctement utilisées. Veuillez respecter les
règles suivantes :
• N'ouvrez pas les piles.
• Ne jetez pas les piles dans un feu.
• N'exposez pas les piles à une température supérieure à 75 °C (167 °F).
• N'exposez pas le contenu des piles à l'eau.
• N'essayez pas de recharger des piles jetables.

INSTALACIÓN DE BATERÍAS
Su linterna RESPONSE XR1-C funciona con dos tipos de pila de litio distintos.
A. DOS pilas de litio desechables CR123 (incluidas)
B. UNA pila redonda de iones de litio 18650 recargable con protección superior (no incluida)
1. Gire la tapadera del mango hacia la izquierda para aflojar y quitarla. (Fig.1)
2. Instale la batería CR123 en la posición correcta tal y como se muestra (Fig. 1).
Preste especial atención a la polaridad de las baterías.
3. Gire la tapadera del mango hacia la derecha hasta que quede apretada.

FUNCIONAMIENTO
La linterna de la serie RAPID ofrece tres modos de iluminación táctica con
iluminación puntual o constante a través del interruptor integrado en el mango (Fig.2)
FUERTE: inunda la zona con una intensa y brillante luz
BAJA: iluminación discreta/íntima
Puntual:
ALTA: Presione el interruptor hasta la mitad y manténgalo
apretado.Suéltelo para apagar.
BAJA: Presione el interruptor rápidamente dos veces
hasta la mitad y manténgalo apretado.
Suéltelo para apagar.
Constante:
FUERTE: Presione el interruptor totalmente una vez para encender.
Presione el interruptor totalmente para apagar.
BAJA: Presione el interruptor rápidamente dos veces después
presiónelo por completo para encender.
Presione el interruptor totalmente para apagar.
INFORMACIÓN IMPORTANTE
1. Use solo baterías de marcas de alta calidad.
2. No mezcle los tipos de batería (recargable/desechable).
3. No mezcle baterías antiguas con nuevas.
4. El tiempo de funcionamiento de su linterna dependerá de su uso
continuado o intermitente. El funcionamiento intermitente prolonga
el funcionamiento de las baterías.
5. El emisor CREE LED está valorado en 50 000 horas
6. No deje las baterías descargadas en la linterna. Esto podría provocar
un daño permanente en la linterna por fugas de la batería. Quite las baterías
si la va a guardar de manera prolongada.
7. Resulta normal que el cuerpo de polímero de la linterna se caliente tras un
uso prolongado.
ADVERTENCIA BATERÍA DE LITIO
Las baterías de litio pueden explotar, tener pérdidas o causar
quemaduras si no se manipulan adecuadamente. Por favor,
observe lo siguiente:
• No abrir las baterías.
• No arrojarlas al fuego.
• No calentar por encima de 75 ºC (167 ºF).
• No exponer su contenido al agua.
• No intentar recargar las baterías desechables.
