Turn on the SpotOn® Temp Probe Pro by pressing the POWER button. The battery level and unit's
serial number will be displayed for a few seconds (Fig. 2) followed by the current temperature
measurement (Fig. 3). Change units if desired by pressing the °F/°C button. Insert the probe into
the material to be tested then wait until the meter's display stabilizes before recording the reading
(usually within 10 seconds).

The empty battery graphic will flash on the LCD display when the batteries need to be replaced
(Fig. 4). Remove the battery cover by rotating counter clockwise. A screwdriver may be required
to loosen the cover. Use the pull tab to remove the battery (Fig. 5). Replace with a new CR2032
lithium coin cell battery and replace the battery cover. Tighten the cover clockwise until the o-ring
seal is slightly compressed.
