After inserting and adjusting the G3 POWER BOOSTER in the processor socket, the lever of
the zero insertion force socket must by turned downwards to lock the socket. With this
step, the installation is completed.

Fixing of the
G3 Power Booster
Before you now close your Power Macintosh G3 computer, you should remove the metal
grounding spring, which is clamped to the metal frame of the computer. This spring can
easily be removed (see picture 7).

the floppy cables run under the G3 POWER BOOSTER circuit board (so that they are not on
