How to Locate the Leak
In rare cases where there is an air leak requi ing repair, you must find the source
of the leak first.
Make sure the mattress is fully inflated and check the valve to see if it causes the
leak. If not, there are 3 ways to help you locate the leak easily.

Method 1 Locate the leak by listening.
Place your ear 2 3inches 5 7cm) away from
the mattress. Press upon the mattress, which
is fully inflated until you find the source of
the hissing sound.
Method 2 Locate the leak by wet hand.
Press and move your wet palm around the
su face of the fully-inflated mattress and
feel for the escaping ush of air.
Method 3 Locate the air leak by using soap
bubbles.
Add a little liquid dish soap to a spray bottle
filled with wa m water. Mix thoroughly to
ensure that you can get an even amount of
soap across the whole mattress. Spray or
wipe around the valve first. Escaping air will
cause bubbles to fo m on the su face.
Tips: Spray the su face of the mattress
systematically.
The leak will reveal itself with soap bubbles.
Don't wo y about getting soap on the
mattress. This can be wiped off later and the
mattress will d y.
Mark the leak with a pe manent marker once
you locate it.
