Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Die Batterie Ex RF BAT 3,6 V/... entspricht den Europäischen Normen
EN IEC 60079-0 und EN 60079-11 und ist für den Einsatz in explosi-
onsgefährdeten Bereichen nach EN 60079-14 vorgesehen. Die Batterie
muss in ein Ex-geprüftes und -bescheinigtes Gehäuse eingebaut wer-
den. Das Gehäuse muss mindestens die Schutzart IP20 besitzen. Das
Gehäuse muss als mechanischer Schutz geeignet sein. Die Betrach-
tung des erforderlichen mechanischen Schutzes muss in der Ex-Be-
triebsmittel-Bescheinigung des Komplettgerätes erfolgen. Die Batte-
rie Ex RF BAT 3,6 V/... dient der Energieversorgung des Funkschalters
Ex RF 96....
Befestigung und Anschluss
Die Batterie Ex RF BAT 3,6 V/... in das Gehäuse des Funkschalters
Ex RF 96... einlegen. Auf korrekte Polarität achten (+ und -, siehe
Kennzeichnung an Batterie und Batteriefach).
Besondere Bedingungen für die Verwendung
Die Batterie vom Typ Ex RF BAT 3,6 V/... Ah wird nur für die Versorgung
des Ex-Funkschalters vom Typ Ex RF 96... eingesetzt.
Die Zusammenschaltung der Batterie vom Typ Ex RF BAT 3,6 V/... Ah
mit dem Funkschalter Ex-Funkschalter Ex RF 96... wird in der Be-
scheinigung des Funkschalters betrachtet.
Hinweis
Umbauten und Veränderungen an der Batterie Ex RF BAT 3,6 V/...
gefährden den Explosionsschutz. Sie sind untersagt.
Wartung
Defekte Batterien nicht reparieren. Defekte Batterien ersetzen. Die
Batterien können nicht wieder aufgeladen werden.
Bei Austausch und Wechsel darauf achten, dass keine Stoßbelastung
auftreten kann.
Entsorgung
- Nationale, lokale und gesetzliche Bestimmungen zur
Entsorgung beachten.
- Batterien fachgerecht entsorgen.

Intended use
The battery of series Ex RF BAT 3.6 V/... complies with the European
standards EN IEC 60079-0 and 60079-11 and therefore is designed for
use in explosive areas as to 60079-14. The battery must be installed
into an enclosure that has been tested and certified for explosion
protection (Ex). The enclosure's degree of protection must be at least
IP20. The enclosure must be suitable as mechanical protection. The
evaluation of the necessary mechanical protection must be carried out
with the Ex equipment certificate of the end device. The battery of se-
ries Ex RF BAT 3.6 V/... serves as power supply for the wireless switch
of series Ex RF 96....
Mounting and wiring
Insert the battery of series Ex RF BAT 3.6 V/... into the enclosure of the
wireless switch of series Ex RF 96... Observe correct polarity (+ and -,
see marking on battery and battery compartment).
Special conditions for use
The battery, type Ex RF BAT 3.6 V/... Ah, is only used for supplying the
Ex footswitch, type Ex RF 96....
The interconnection of the battery, type Ex RF BAT 3.6 V/... Ah, to the
wireless footswitch Ex wireless footswitch Ex RF 96... is observed in
the certification of the footswitch.
N.B.
Modifications and alterations of battery Ex RF BAT 3.6 V/... jeopardize
explosion protection. They are prohibited.
Maintenance
Do not repair defective batteries. Replace defective batteries. The bat-
teries cannot be recharged.
In case of exchange and replacement, ensure that no shock load
may occur.
Disposal
- Observe national, local and legal regulations concerning disposal.
- Dispose of batteries correctly.
