9. Cooking time indications
Cooking time begins when some steam is evenly emitted from the control valve. The
cooking time indications should only be taken as approximate guidelines. Please adapt
the required cooking times to your personal taste.

VEGETABLES: Pour 1.5 cups of water into the pressure cooker, place the basket insert
onto the basket holder.

water indicated in the recipe.

RICE: In order to reduce foaming, add at least a spoonful of butter or oil. For white rice,
add 1/3 less water, for wholegrain rice ¼ less water than indicated.

Dried legumes: These do not need to be soaked in advance. Add ¼ beans and ¾ of water
to the pressure cooker together with a spoonful of oil or butter. After the cooking time, let
the pressure cooker cool down under cold water.
