Operating instructions
Batteries
The remote control has 2 batteries: 1 × CR2032 and 1 × A23 (replacement
batteries for A23 at Clas Ohlson are called V23GA, art.no 22-3226).

1. Activate the batteries by opening the battery compartment on the back of
the remote control and removing the plastic tabs from the terminals.
2. Refit the battery cover.
Setting the time
1. Hold in [ CLOCK ] until the hours flash.
2. Press or hold in [ ▼/▲ ] to set the hours.
3. Press [ ENTER ] to confirm. The minutes will flash.
4. Press or hold in [ ▼/▲ ] to set the minutes. Press [ ENTER ] to confirm.
Linking the remote control to a receiver
1. Press [ ▼/▲ ] to select a channel (15 channels are available) for the receiver
you want to link to the remote control.
2. Make sure that the receiver that you are going to use the remote control with is
ready to be linked to the remote control (refer to the user manual of the receiver).
3. Press [ ON ] on the remote control to link it to the receiver.
4. The previous steps can be repeated to link multiple receivers.
Timer settings
1. Hold in [ TIMER ] until the timer settings appear on the display.
2. Press [ ▼/▲ ] to choose the desired memory slot (8 memory slots are available).
3. Press [ ENTER ] to confirm.

the Buttons and functions – Display section above).
15. Press [ ENTER ] to confirm.

16. Press [ TIMER ] to return to time display mode.
Note: If no settings are made within 20 seconds, the display automatically
reverts to time display mode.

To temporarily deactivate a timer setting

1. Hold in [ TIMER ] until the timer settings appear on the display.
2. Press [ ▼/▲ ] to choose the desired memory slot.

3. Press [ ll/DEL ] (a box will flash around the chosen memory slot) and then
[ ENTER ] to temporarily stop the timer setting. A box will appear surrounding

the memory slot to indicate that the timer is temporarily turned off.
To reactivate a timer setting
1. Hold in [ TIMER ] until the timer settings appear on the display.
2. Press [ ▼/▲ ] to choose the desired memory slot.
3. Press [ ll/DEL ] (the box around the chosen memory slot will flash) and then
[ ENTER ] to reactivate the timer setting. The box surrounding the memory
slot will dissappear.
To delete a timer setting
1. Hold in [ TIMER ] until the timer settings appear on the display.
2. Press [ ▼/▲ ] to choose the desired memory slot.
3. Hold in [ ll/DEL ] until the on/off times flash and then press [ ENTER ] to delete
the setting.
Dimming
If the remote control is used with a dimmable receiver it can be used to dim
a connected light. Pressing the on-button twice in quick succession will cause
the light to continually increase and decrease. Press the on-button once more
when the desired light level has been reached. Switch the light on/off using
the on and off buttons. The light comes on at the latest light level setting when
the on-button is pressed (refer even to the user manual of the dimmer receiver).
Button lock
•
Activate: hold in [ ENTER ] for approximately 4 seconds until the lock symbol
appears on the display.
•
Deactivate: hold in [ ENTER ] for approximately 4 seconds until the lock
symbol disappears from the display.
Care and maintenance
•
Clean the remote control by wiping it with a dry cloth.
•
Remove the batteries from the remote control if it is not to be used for a long
time.
Changing the batteries
1. Open the battery cover on the back of the remote control.
2. Remove the batteries from their respective battery
compartments (slide the CR2032 battery out from its
holder, see picture).
3. Slide in a new CR2032 battery in its place. The battery's
positive (+) terminal should be facing upwards.
4. Insert a new A23 battery into its compartment, ensuring
that the polarity poles are in facing correctly.
Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that this product should not be disposed of
with general household waste. This applies throughout the entire
EU. In order to prevent any harm to the environment or health
hazards caused by incorrect waste disposal, the product must be
handed in for recycling so that the material can be disposed of
in a responsible manner. When recycling your product, take it to
your local collection facility or contact the place of purchase.
They will ensure that the product is disposed of in an environmentally
sound manner.
