For this purpose, first open the cover. The inserted key must be turned to and kept at the
position "system OFF". In addition, press the reset taster above the LEDs. After holding
down for 3, the green "OK" LED should light up. If it does not light up, control system
alarms are active (e.g. fire alarm system).
2.3 DIN profile half cylinder
The fireman's switch FWS 2 has an insert for the bracket of a DIN profile half cylinder
according to DIN EN 1303 with an overall length of 40 mm and an adjustable lock bit –
DIN profile half cylinder – Not included in delivery!

2.4 Installation of DIN profile half cylinder
Only DIN profile half cylinders (accessories) with adjustable lock bits can be installed in
the fireman's switch. The insert for the bracket in the fireman's switch must be placed in
the middle position for installation. The lock bit of the locking cylinder must be placed in
the middle position "twelve o'clock", so that it fits in the bracket. The DIN profile half cy-
linder can then be installed in the fireman's switch. After installation, it must be checked
whether the switch positions are consistent with the operating status labels on the casing
of the fireman's switch and the key can be removed in the middle position.
2.5 Conversion of switching contact from spring return to latching
If the system controlled by the FWS requires a switching contact instead of a non-holding
contact, there is a conversion option. For this purpose, it is necessary to convert the
switching contact inside the FWS as follows:
