EN: Knee protectors. Operating instructions.
Knee protectors – personal protection equipment used by people kneeling to protect their knees and to minimize the
risk of injury due to the impact of hard surfaces, small objects, etc. Choose the knee pads with a protection level that
corresponds to the maximum work process risks.
The product complies with the provisions of the Technical Regulation of Personal Protective Equipment and the EN 14404
standard.

Size: One size fits all.
The knee pads marking includes the EN 14404 standard compliance, the type indication (Type 1 –
clothing independent knee pads that is held around the leg) and the knee pads protection level (0 - knee
pads for use on flat or uneven surfaces, does not protect against penetrating impact). Choose knee pads
with level 1 and 2, if you need knee pads to protect against penetrating impact with a force of 100 N or
250 N respectively.
Used materials: fabric – Oxford (OXFORD), filler – foamed polyethylene (EPE pearl cotton).
Please read the instructions carefully before use. Instruction requirements ignoring may cause negative consequences
for the user's health. Perform a detailed knee pads inspection for wear, punctures, cracks and other damages before use.
Replace the knee pads in case of damage or signs of wear.
Kneeling is unnatural working position but it can be very convenient in performing some tasks. Without knee
protectors, workers may suffer discomfort and immediate injuries from hard surfaces and small stones and
similar objects lying on the surfaces.
Kneeling position can also impair venous drainage. The body inactivity limits the venous blood pressure to the
knee and can cause compression of the popliteal veins and increased blood flow resistance. It is important that
knee protectors do not compromise venous drainage in the leg while kneeling or standing up.
Adjust the knee protectors position with help of locking straps to ensure adequate protection. A properly adjusted
product should not slide off (1), and the pads should reach about bent knee level (2). Avoid over-tensioning the straps.
Kneel vertically, do not sit on your heels. Do not kneel for a long period, rest for at least 10 minutes without knee pads
attached to the legs with locking straps. Seek for medical attention if knee or body swelling occurs while kneeling
position working.
• This product is not intended for contact with fire, solvents and other aggressive substances. Protective knee pads are
not waterproof. Recommended temperature for use: -10°С - +40°С;
• Improper use, unauthorized modification or serious contamination can cause the significant protective properties
decreasing;
• Materials in contact with the skin may cause allergic reactions for people with sensitive skin. In this case, leave the risk
area, remove the knee pads and seek medical help.
Clean the product with a hand brush and/or wet wipes in case of contamination. Do not use solvents, oils, aggressive
detergents. Dry the knee protectors at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat sources after cleaning.
Transportation is allowed by any type of closed transport, in accordance with the current transportation rules for each
type of transport. Store in original packaging at natural vented warehouse at -20°С to +40°С temperatures and humidity
<60%, away from heating devices. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, moisture and aggressive environments.
The shelf life is 5 years from the date of manufacture. The product's operation duration is limited by the signs of wear or
damage appearance or by the expiration date. Dispose the used product in accordance to the current law requirements.
