When connecting your smartphone to the POWFOX charging station make sure to hold
the plug attached to the cable connected to the POWFOX charging station and connect
your phone. Avoid pulling the cable at any time. Disconnect in the same manner.
To unplug charging cables from devices it should be avoided to pull on the charging
cable itself, but use the plug itself to pull the ch arging cable from the device.
The POWFOX charging station is a charging station for smartphones. At no time the data
stored on the devices is accessed. No personal data is retrieved or stored by the POWFOX
charging station.
Avoid direct sunlight. Keep the POWFOX charging station away from any source of heat.
To prevent fire hazard, never place candles or other source of open flame upon or near
the POWFOX charging station.
Do not remove any case parts and do not make any changes to the device! The device is
powered by high voltage so handling any interior parts can cause dangerous electrical
shock. There are no repairs applicable inside the POWFOX charging station that should
be executed by the customer. In case you encounter technical issues regarding the
POWFOX charging station please contact your local dealer where your POWFOX charging
station will be checked, repaired and serviced.
The replacement of the charger cable however - located in the charging slots - can be
performed autonomously if necessary. Cut the cable tie that secures the cable connector
in the area of the charging slots. Disconnect the cable connector from the USB
connection located in the charging slots. Insert the supplied replacement plug into the
USB port. Then fix the cable connector again with a cable tie to prevent the USB
connector cable from being stolen.
Before cleaning the device make sure to disconnect the power plug from the power
socket. If the device is connected with the power outlet during cleaning there is a
danger of electric shock.
Make sure you choose the right input voltage according to the nameplate of the
POWFOX charging station.
Handling the power plug and power cord: Insert the power plug completely into the
power socket (a loose connection could generate heat and cause a fire outbreak).
Secure simple access to the main plug.
Do not touch the power cord with wet hands. Otherwise there is a risk of electric shock.
Protect the power cord against damage. A damaged power cord can cause fire or electric
shock. Make sure to unplug the power cord from the wall outlet before changing the
site of POWFOX charging station.
Do not place heavy objects on the power cord and avoid placing the power cord next to
radiators or other devices that may be very hot. The power cord must not be twisted,
pinched or stretched. Do not pull the power cord. Hold the power cord on the plug
housing during shutdown. Never use a damaged power plug or a damaged power socket.
Make sure that the power cord is not squeezed by the POWFOX charging station. Unplug
the power cord from the wall outlet immediately if any abnormality is detected!
Make sure that all the cables are installed in such a way that no person or animal can
trip or fall and inadvertently pull out the plug when moving or walking through the
connection range. Do not let children play with the cables. As with any other electrical
devices, not acting according to the precautions could result in serious injury or death
from electric shock or fire or could cause damage to the POWFOX charging station.
Therefore, select an appropriate power source for your POWFOX charging station. If you
are not sure about the correct power supply, please contact a specialized technician. Do
not use power sources that do not accord to the standard i.e. generators or inverters,
even if the voltage and frequency appear to be correct.
Only use alternating current which is supplied from a normal power socket. Do not
overload the power outlet, the power cord, power strip, or other electrical outlets. Make
sure that the power socket is designed for the total current (in amps), which is required
by the POWFOX charging station and other devices that are connected to the same
circuit.
Please transport the POWFOX charging station in vertical position only.
