Install the battery compartment lid (5) back to its
place.
Notes: If there is an isolation insert in the battery com-
partment, remove the battery compartment lid (5),
remove the isolation insert and install battery compart-
ment lid (5) back in its place.
Battery replacement
•
When the battery is low, the symbol «LO» will appear
on the display (1).
•
Open the battery compartment lid (5), replace the
old battery with a new «CR2032» battery, strictly fol-
lowing the polarity, then close the battery compart-
ment lid (5).
•
Used batteries should be removed from the unit and
disposed safely.

WEIGHT MEASUREMENT

1. Place the scale on a steady flat surface.
2. To switch the scale on/off/tare, press the «
button (4) and wait until the zero indications appear
on the display (1).
Notes: if the indications on the display (1) are not equal
to zero, press the « /TARE» button (4), the indications
will be set to zero.
3. Select weight measurement units by pressing the
«unit» button (2). The following symbols will appear
on the display (1): «g» - grams; «oz» - ounces; «lb» -
pounds; «kg» - kilograms; «ml» - milliliters.
4. The display (1) will show weight of ingredient(s)
according to the selected measurement units.
5. To switch the scale off, remove the ingredients from
the platform (3) and hold down the «
(4) for 3 seconds.
Notes:
– When you switch the unit on and weigh the prod-
ucts, the display (1) also shows the temperature of
the environment.
– The scale will be switched off automatically after
2 minutes of non-operation.
Tare function
If you want to measure the weight of several ingredi-
ents without removing the previous ones from the plat-
form (3), proceed as follows:
1. Place the scale on a steady flat surface.
2. To switch the scale on, hold down the «
ton (4) and wait until zero indications appear on the
display (1).
Note: if the indications on the display (1) are not equal to
zero, press the «

3. Select weight measurement units by pressing the «unit»
button (2), the following symbols will appear on the
display (1): «g» - grams; «oz» - ounces; «lb» - pounds;
«kg» - kilograms; «ml» - milliliters.
4. Put the required quantity of the first ingredient on the
platform (3), checking the numeral indication on the
display (1).
5. Press the «
on the display (1) will be set to zero.
Note: when weighing ingredients consequently, the tare
symbol «TARE» appears on the display (1).
6. Put the required amount of the second ingredient on
the platform (3), checking the numeral indication on
the display (1).

7. Repeat steps 4, 5, 6 to weigh the rest of ingredients
consecutively.
8. Adding ingredients is available until the max. capac-
ity (10 kg).
9. Remove all the ingredients from the platform, the dis-
play (1) will show the total weight of all ingredients and
the «TARE» and «-» symbols.
Note:
– If the scale works improperly, try switching the power
off. To do this, open the battery compartment lid (5)
and take out the battery. After some time install the
battery back to its place and switch the scale on.
– For maintenance contact any authorized service center

at the contact address list given in the warranty certifi-
cate and on the website www.rondell.ru.
– To switch the scale off, remove the ingredients from
the platform (3) and press the «
for 3 seconds.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

•
Clean the scale with a soft, slightly damp cloth and
then wipe it dry.
•
Do not use abrasives or solvents.
•
Do not immerse the scale into water or any other liq-
uids, do not wash it in a dishwashing machine.
•
Keep the scale in a dry cool place out of reach of chil-
dren and disabled persons.
