e Ensure that your PC supports USB devices. (Refer to your PC manual for the
information about hardware).
e Connect your PC to the player using the USB cable (optional).
e Press the PLAY key to turn ON the player. The LCD Screen will display a connecting
picture if connected properly.
If you are using a PC that is running with Windows 98SE (or below) it is necessary
to install the software from the accompanying CD (optional). Simply insert the CD
and follow the on-screen instructions to install this software. This procedure is not
required when using Windows 2000, Windows ME, Windows XP or higher versions
thereof.
