5. Excluded claims
Since the appliance was found to be in good working order
at the time of delivery, the guarantee does not cover:
• Scratches, imprints or stains on the covering of the
appliance that were not identified at the time of delivery.
• Breakable components such as firebricks, glass panes in
windows, Pyrex plates, etc., with the exception of defects
in the raw materials recognised as such by our technical
service.
• The components that come into immediate contact with
the fire, such as grates, firebricks, inner plates, etc.
6. The guarantee is not applicable in the case of:
- incorrect installation or connection; an adjustment or
repair attempt not carried out by your installer;
- a defect in the electrical installation of the residence or
building;
- electrical voltage, gas pressure or a fuel type that
deviates in an extreme measure from the normal figures
provided for the supply of the appliance;
- incorrect treatment or use, incorrect or inadequate
maintenance by the owner of the appliance;
- falling of the appliance or a component;
- transporting of the appliance without taking the necessary
precautions to safeguard the appliance and its components
against damage;
- failure to observe the conditions for use and installation,
such as an abnormally high or low chimney draught. These
conditions with regard to the chimney are described in the
instructions for use and
The costs of interventions as a result of the above-
mentioned situations remain payable.
7. The guarantee is declared null and void in the case
of appliances and parts
- being repaired or altered by persons not authorised by
the firm;
- of which the manufacturing numbers have been removed
or forged.
