WARNING: During use, make sure that no part of the bed, such as sheets, blankets, etc.,
invades cradle's space or creates any kind of obstacles. They could be a source of danger
or suffocation for your child.
To use this mode, you must lower the front side of "Stellina". Open the zips totally, pull the
inner tube fixing lever outwards (Fig. 19) and unhook the tube itself. Make same operation
on both sides. Now the crib is open and ready to be fixed to the bed (Fig. 20). When you
finish using "Stellina" in this mode, fix again frame in its original position. To fix it correctly
more easier, match the marks on the two parts of the tube (Fig. 21); then close both zips
tightly to avoid injury to your child.
WARNING: USE THE CRIB WITH THE LOWER TUBE IN CO-SLEEPING MODE ONLY
(Near to bed).
Place the cradle near the parents' bed and check the height of the cradle compared to the
parents' mattress. Our crib is equipped with retractable feet to placed it alongside beds
also with closed side rails.
Some types of beds (e.g. sofa beds) have closed bases which can prevent the foot from
slipping underneath. In this case, simply press button (A) to activate the retractable foot
On each foot and the feet will slide in (B) as you push the crib towards the bed (Fig. 22).
Fix the male part of the fixing belt (G) to the female placed on the cradle (Fig. 23), open
the buckle of the belt, unroll it and pass it around the edge of the bed (Fig. 24) and then
close the buckles (Fig. 25). Make the same operations for the other belt.
Now push crib close to the bed and pull the straps to secure it firmly, until the cradle is in
close contact with the mattress.
WARNING: Before each use, check that there is no space between the mattress and the
cradle edge. In this case, pull the straps until the mattress and crib are in close contact.
We suggest to place free part of strap under the bed, even better tying it, to keep it as far
as possible from babies' reach; it could be a source of danger or strangulation.
"Stellina" is now ready to welcome your baby and keep it close to you during naps.
Once finished using the cradle in this function, unhook it from the bed following the above
described operations in reverse.
