Fitting Instructions
IMPORTANT: To provide the required level of protection, it is essential that the respirator is fitted correctly. Please follow
the guidance below:
1. Hold the respirator in your hand with the nosepiece at your fingertips, allowing the elasticated headbands to hang
freely below your hand
2. Press the respirator firmly against your face with the nosepiece positioned on the bridge of your nose
3. Draw the headbands over your head one at a time. Position the top band high on the back of your head. Position the
bottom band just below your ears
4. Using both hands, mould the metal nosepiece to the shape of your nose
5. To check the fit, place both hands completely over the respirator and inhale vigorously. If air leaks around the edges
of the respirator, readjust the respirator, manipulating the nose bridge and headband to achieve an acceptable seal.
If a proper seal cannot be achieved DO NOT enter the contaminated area

Mise en place
IMPORTANT : Pour procurer le niveau de protection requis, il est essentiel que le masque soit correctement mis en
place. Pour ceci, veuillez suivre les étapes ci-dessous :
1. Prenez le masque respiratoire en le pinçant de chaque côté du pince-nez et en laissant les élastiques pendre
librement.
2. Pressez le masque respiratoire fermement contre le visage, le pince-nez placé sur l'arête de votre nez.
3. Passez les élastiques par-dessus la tête, un par un. Placez l'élastique supérieur en position la plus haute derrière la
tête. Placez l'élastique le plus bas juste sous les oreilles.
4. Des deux mains, pressez le pince-nez de chaque côté de votre nez pour lui faire épouser la forme de votre visage.
5. Pour vérifier la bonne installation, posez les mains sur le masque, de chaque côté du visage, et inspirez
vigoureusement. Si de l'air s'écoule sur les bords du masque, réajustez le masque, en retouchant la mise en place du
pince-nez et des élastiques afin de parvenir à un niveau d'étanchéité acceptable. Si vous ne parvenez pas à obtenir
un niveau d'étanchéité acceptable, ne pénétrez PAS dans la zone contaminée.

Anlege-Anweisung
WICHTIG: Es ist wichtig, dass die Atemschutzmaske korrekt angelegt wird, damit sie den angegebenen Schutz leiste
kann. Befolgen Sie daher folgende Anweisungen:
1. Halten Sie die Atemschutzmaske in einer Hand mit dem Nasenteil zwischen Ihren Fingern. Die elastischen
Haltebänder sollen frei auf Ihrem Handrücken hängen.
2. Drücken Sie die Atemschutzmaske fest an Ihr Gesicht, so dass das Nasenteil an Ihrem Nasenrücken anliegt.
3. Ziehen Sie die elastischen Haltebänder nacheinander über Ihren Kopf. Das obere Halteband soll oben auf der
Kopfrückseite sitzen und das untere Halteband kurz unter Ihren Ohren.
4. Formen Sie die Metall-Nasenklemme mit beiden Händen, so dass sie Ihrer Nasenform entspricht.
5. Decken Sie zum Test die gesamte Atemschutzmaske mit Ihren Händen ab und atmen Sie kräftig ein. Sollten
Leckagen an der Seite der Maske auftreten, versetzen Sie die Maske entsprechend, modellieren Sie die
Nasenklemme und verändern Sie die Position der Haltebänder bis die Atemschutzmaske ordnungsgemäß
abdichtet. Wenn Sie die Maske nicht abgedichtet bekommen, begeben Sie sich NICHT in eine kontaminierte
Umgebung.

Warning
The user should be trained in fitting the respirator and should be aware of the instructions for use prior to putting
on the respirator. Use in adequately ventilated areas, which are not deficient of oxygen and do not contain explosive
atmospheres. The respirator must be fitted correctly to ensure the level of protection expected is achieved. It is unlikely

that the requirements for leakage will be achieved if facial hair passes under the face seal.
Discard and replace the respirator if:
1. The respirator is removed whilst in the contaminated area
2. Clogging of the respirator causes breathing difficulties
3. The respirator becomes damaged
FAILURE TO FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS ON THE USE OF THIS RESPIRATOR DURING ALL
TIMES OF EXPOSURE CAN REDUCE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE RESPIRATOR AND COULD RESULT IN ILLNESS
OR DISABILITY.
Storage and Shelf Life
This respirator should be stored in a container, protected from dust, chemicals, moisture, away from direct sunlight
and in a clean, cool and dry atmosphere with humidity factor less than 75% and in a temperature between +2°C and
+55°C. Failure to observe these requirements may affect shelf life and performance.

L'utilisateur doit avoir été formé à la mise en place du masque et doit avoir pris connaissance des instructions

ventilées, suffisamment riches en oxygène et hors atmosphères explosives. Le niveau de protection recherché ne sera
assuré que si le masque est correctement installé. Le port de la barbe ou de la moustache est susceptible d'empêcher la
réalisation d'une étanchéité efficace.
Jetez et remplacez le masque dans les cas suivants :
1. Le masque a été retiré dans la zone contaminée.
2. L'obturation de la valve du masque rend la respiration difficile.

2. die Maske verstopft ist und das Atmen dadurch erschwert ist,
3. die Maske in irgendeiner Weise beschädigt ist.

Lagerung und Haltbarkeitsdauer
Die Atemschutzmasken müssen in einem Schutzbehälter aufbewahrt werden, geschützt vor Staub, Chemikalien,
Feuchtigkeit und Sonneneinstrahlung in einer sauberen, kühlen und trockenen Atmosphäre mit weniger als 75%
