PAIRING KINETIC PUSH BUTTON AND DOORBELL DB4000
The kinetic push button and the DB4000 doorbell are supplied paired. Plug the DB4000 into a wall socket. Ready to use, press
the kinetic push button and you will hear the set melody signal.
PAIRING
•
Act as follows if the pairing is to be established:
-
Place the doorbell DB4000 in a socket.
-
Press the pairing button (approx. 5 sec.), the blue LED comes on.

The DB4000 doorbell now enters pairing-learning mode.

Then press the kinetic push button.
-
The doorbell DB4000 responds with the set melody, the kinetic push button is paired.
Note

Several push buttons can be paired.
-
The doorbell has an internal memory, no re-pairing is necessary after a power failure.
SETTING THE MELODY
-
Use the melody selector switches up/down (1) to set the melody of your choice.
SETTING THE VOLUME

The volume can be set with the volume knob (2).
CLEARING THE MEMORY OF PAIRED BUTTONS
-
Unplug the DB4000.
-
Press the pairing button.
-
While the button remains pressed, place the doorbell DB4000 back in the socket.

While pressing, the LED flashes which then turns on.
-
Release the pairing button, the LED goes off.
-
The memory of all paired pushbuttons is cleared.
TROUBLESHOOTING
•
The doorbell does not ring
-
The doorbell may be out of range of the push button.
-
Change the distance between doorbell and push button; range may be affected by local conditions (metal, iron
wickerwork, heavy concrete walls).
-
Check the volume setting on the doorbell.
•
The doorbell has no power.
-
Check the socket the doorbell is plugged into.
