The product consists of a sensor unit and a signalling unit.
A PIR sensor is built into the sensor unit, which responds to temperature changes within the
detection range, e.g., when a person enters the detection range.
Thereupon, the signal unit sends a wireless signal to the signalling unit. This emits an audio
signal (select from 5 different audio tunes and 4 different volume levels); two LEDs also flash.
In this way, for example, a person's entry into the sales room of a business can be signalled.
The sensor and signalling units are operated with batteries. The signalling unit, however, can
also be operated with an external power supply (not included, available separately).
Always observe the safety instructions included in these operating instructions. Read the
operating manual carefully; keep it in a safe place or pass it on to others using the product.
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and involves
the risk of short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc. No part of the product may be modified or
converted!
This product complies with the applicable national and European requirements. All names

The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any resulting
damage!
We do not assume any liability for personal injuries and material damages
caused by the improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions!
In such cases, the warranty will be null and void!
a) General
• Unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product is not allowed for
safety and approval reasons (CE).
• The product is not a toy and does not belong in the hands of children! Children
cannot assess the dangers arising from incorrect use of electrical devices. In
addition, the product contains small parts and batteries. Therefore, be especially
careful when children are around!
• The loudspeaker in the signalling unit is very loud. This can, in some cases, lead
to hearing damage if the device is operated too close to the ear.
• Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around, since it could become a
dangerous plaything for children.
• If you have any questions that are not answered in these operating instructions,
please contact our technical department or another specialist.
b) Installation, connection and operation
• The sensor unit and the signalling unit are intended for the installation and use in
dry indoor locations only; they must not get damp or wet.
• Do not operate the device in environments where there are high levels of dust,
flammable gases, vapours or solvents. There is a danger of fire and explosion!
Version 03/16
• The product must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong
vibrations or heavy mechanical stress.
°
• Handle the product with care; it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental
falls, even from a low height.
Additional information on batteries and rechargeable batteries

• Batteries/rechargeable batteries must be kept out of the reach of children.
• Do not leave any batteries/rechargeable batteries lying around openly. There is a risk of bat-
teries being swallowed by children or pets. If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
• Acid contact due to leaking or damaged single/rechargeable batteries can burn your skin,
therefore use suitable protective gloves.
• Liquids leaking from batteries/rechargeable batteries are chemically highly aggressive.
Objects or surfaces coming into contact with these liquids may be severely damaged.
Therefore, keep batteries / rechargeable batteries in a suitable location.
• Ensure that the batteries/rechargeable batteries are never short-circuited, taken apart or
thrown into a fire. There is a danger of explosion!
• Do not recharge normal, non-rechargeable batteries. There is a danger of explosion! Charge
only rechargeable batteries that are intended for this purpose; use a suitable battery charger.
• Check that the polarity is correct when inserting the batteries/rechargeable batteries (pay
attention to plus/+ and minus/-).
• If the product is not to be used for a while (e.g., storage), remove the batteries / rechargeable
batteries. Old batteries/rechargeable batteries can leak and cause damages to the product;
loss of guarantee/warranty!
• Never mix standard batteries with rechargeable batteries, use either standard batteries or
rechargeable batteries.
• Do not mix batteries/rechargeable batteries with different charge levels (e.g., full and half-full
batteries/rechargeable batteries).
• Always replace the complete set of batteries / rechargeable batteries.
• Check that the polarity is correct when inserting the batteries/rechargeable batteries (pay
attention to plus/+ and minus/-).
• If you wish to use rechargeable batteries, please note that, due to the lower output voltage,
the operating time will decrease in this case.
Therefore, we recommend that you use high-quality alkaline batteries to operate both the
sensor unit and the signalling unit in order to ensure long-lasting and reliable operation.
• For the environmentally friendly disposal of batteries and rechargeable batteries, please read
the chapter "Disposal".

a) Sensor unit
• Open the battery compartment on the back by first unscrewing the screw on the battery
compartment cover and then opening the cover.
• Insert 3 Micro/AAA batteries, with the correct polarity (observe +/Plus and -/Minus).
• Close the battery compartment again and screw in the screw of the battery compartment
cover.
• The batteries of the sensor unit need to be replaced when the red LED on the front lights and
flashes continuously.
b) Signalling unit
• Open the battery compartment on the back by first unscrewing the screw on the battery
compartment cover and then opening the cover.
• Insert three batteries of type Baby/C with correct polarity (observe plus/+ and minus/-).
• Close the battery compartment again and screw in the screw of the battery compartment
cover.
• You need to replace the batteries of the signalling unit, if it stops responding to the sensor
unit, the alarm sound is low or distorted or the alarm LEDs are not flashing.
