Area of use: This chair should only be used for its intend-
ed purpose whilst observing the general duty of care.
Accidents can happen if the chair is not used in the proper
manner (e.g. if used as a climbing aid, sitting on armrests).
Plastic parts: A damp cloth or commercially available plastic
cleaner are suitable for cleaning. Please do not use
aggressive detergents.
Upholstery/mesh backrest: Clean lightly soiled fabric with
a damp cloth only.
Leather: Leather is a natural product. Irregularities and
scars give the material its distinctive character. Light soiling
can be wiped away with a soft woollen cloth. For heavier
soiling only use treatments for aniline-dyed leather.
Castors: Castors for carpeted floors are fitted as standard.
Chairs can be supplied with soft wheels for hard floors on
request, which can be identified by their contrasting ring.
For safety reasons the castors must be changed if the chair
is moved from a carpeted area to a hard floor and vice
versa. To change castors: simply pull out / push in.
Gas spring: Do not heat the gas spring unit or open it
forcibly! Maintenance, repairs and replacement of gas
springs should be carried out by trained personnel only.
