4.4 Integrated monopod
A stablemonopodcan be created from the middlecolumn
and oneof the tripod egs (labelledwith the Hama ogo on
the rubbercoating)
• Remove the middlecolumnasdescribedin point 4.3
Do not reattachthe weight hook(6)
• Unscrew the tripod legwith the Hamalogo and remove
it from the tripod base
• Screw the middlecolumnandthe threaded tripod eg
togetheruntil it is handtight
• Adjustthe monopodyou havejust created to the desired
length
4.5 Ball head
Theball head (1)isequippedWitha largefixingscrew
for theball head function anda small f ixingscrew forthe
panorama function
• Unscrew the argefixingscrewsoit is ooseenough
that the camera can move and the ball head (1) can be
adjusted
• Next,tighten the fixingscrewagainand ensure that the
ball head (1) is also secured

4.6 Quick-release plate
Note
A safety threadessentially prevents t hequick-release
plate(2)from falling out; however y ou shoulda ways
hold on to yourcamera to be safe
• Ensure that the ball head(1)Pivotis secured
• Unscrew thefixingscrew untilit is loose enough thatthe
quick-reeaseplate(2)can be removed from its fixture by
ti ting it slightlyupwards
• Attachthe quick-release p ate (2)to yourcamera
• Placeyourcamera with the quick-release p ate (2)

4.7 Head mounting plate

• Thehexagon s ocket s crew thatcanbeaccessed from
the bottomis usedto preventthe ball head(l) from
accidentallybecomingunscrewed from the tripod
• Thescrewthat can be accessed fromthe top of the
mountingplate(2)after the ball headis removed is
used to secure the ball head to the middle column
• The3 mmAllenkeyfor these screws i sincluded with
the product.
• Lockthe panorama functionof the ball head( ) with the
small f ixingscrew
• Screw the knurledmountingplate(2) beow the degree
dispay of the ball head(1) It's possibe that the
hexagon s crew onthebottomofthemounting plate(2)
will have to be loosened a bit
• If necessary, o osenthe hexagonscrewon the top of the
mounting pate(2)if themounting plate(2)cannotbe
removed from the middle column
• Turnthe screwif you want to attacha differentball head
(I) with a 1/4" thread
• Screw the mountingp ate (2)onto the ball head(l)
againuntil it issecurelyn place
• Always screw in thehexagon s crew carefully •norder to
preventdamageto the ball head(l) andthe mounting
plate(2)
