MIPS®
MIPS® (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) is a multidirectional impact protection system technology for helmets.
The MIPS® system offers greater protection than other technologies and reduces pressure points on the brain in the event of an angular impact
(angular impacts basically mean blows to the head in an accident). Impacts with the helmet in the event of an accident are with more frequently
at an angle to the ground, not frontally. MIPS® technology consists of a low-friction layer that allows the outer layer to of the hoof slide, absorbing
some of the energy of the blow.
In the case of disassembling the interiors of this helmet, you will see a yellow system that covers a large part of the helmet. It's the MIPS® system.
Please, never tamper with or disassemble the MIPS® system that this helmet incorporates.
