SOLIS KalStop FP2003 Kurzanleitung


KalStop FP2003 is a non-toxic, purely organic, natural product that consists of tannin complex,
which prevents the build-up of lime scale and removes lime. Regular use will guarantee your
steam iron station an extended product lifetime, a dry steam for better results and it will save
energy.
You can add a small amount of KalStop in the water for your steam iron station to prevent the
build up of lime and a larger amount can be used to descale the boiler.
1. additiOn tO tap water
a.) For models with the self-filling-boiler and unlimited autonomy
(e.g. SOLIS STEAMPOWER PRO + PRO ECO).
Mix 1 ampoule of KalStop into 5 litres of tap water, then fill with the mixture little by
little as needed.
b.) For models with a boiler and safety seal
Open an ampoule and add half of it's contents to the tap water in the pre-filled water
tank. For very hard water, the concentration can also be increased to 1 ampoule per litre.
We recommend that you clean the boiler every two months, with clean water. If the
water comes out with a brownish colour, then the boiler needs to be well de-scaled.
2. descaling the bOiler
a.) For models with the self-filling-boiler and unlimited autonomy (e.g. SOLIS
STEAMPOWER PRO + PRO ECO).
For a heavily calcified appliance, bring the appliance to SOLIS or a SOLIS authorised
service centre, instead of de-scaling the appliance yourself.
b.) For models with a boiler and safety seal
Disconnect the cooled appliance from the mains, i.e. unplug the appliance. Unscrew the
boiler cap, mix 500 ml of water with 5 ampoules of KalStop and fill the boiler with it,
using the funnel. Shut the boiler cap again.
Plug the appliance in, switch on the appliance and set the steam control dial to Steam
Iron. As soon as the boiler is under pressure, use the steam button until the steam
reduces, then wait 10 minutes. Switch off the appliance again, unplug it and leave it to
cool completely for 2 hours.
Then unscrew the boiler cap, empty the water from the boiler and clean it repeatedly
with fresh water until the water comes out clean. Once finished, fill the boiler with
100 ml of water and close the boiler cap.
Before ironing, check whether the steam comes out cleanly.

WARNING: Do not use KalStop FP2003 with models which have heat exchangers,
or for conventional irons. Do not swallow – on contact with eyes, rinse eyes with plenty
of water. Keep away from children.
KalStop is available in packs of 20 ampoules.

KalStop FP2003 is een niet giftig en volledig biologisch natuurproduct,dat uit een tannine
complex bestaat dat de opbouw van kalk voorkomt en kalk verwijderd. Regelmatig gebruik ga-
randeert een langere levensduur van uw stoomstrijkstation, droge stoom voor betere resultaten
en het bespaart energie. U kunt een kleine hoeveelheid KalStop in het water van uw stoom-
strijkstation doen om zo te voorkomen dat er kalk wordt opgebouwd of een grotere hoeveelheid
gebruiken om uw stoomgenerator te ontkalken.
1. gebruik met leidingwater
a.) Bij modellen met een continue gevulde stoomgenerator en een onbeperkte
werkzaamheid (zoals de SOLIS STEAMPOWER PRO + PRO ECO).
5 liter leidingwater en 1 flacon KalStop mengen en daarna het reservoir met de juiste
hoeveelheid vullen.
b.) Bij modellen met een stoomgenerator en veiligheidsvergrendeling
Flacon openen en de helft van de inhoud in het zojuist met leidingwater gevulde reser-
voir gieten. Bij hard water kan de concentratie ook 1 flacon per 1 liter water zijn.
Wij raden u aan om de stoomgenerator elke twee maanden met helder water te spoe-
len. Is de kleur van het gespoelde water ietwat bruin, dan getuigd dit van een goede
ontkalking.
2. Ontkalken van de stOOmgeneratOr
a.) Bij modellen met een continue gevulde stoomgenerator en een onbeperkte
werkzaamheid (zoals de SOLIS STEAMPOWER PRO + PRO ECO).
Niet zelf ontkalken, maar breng het apparaat in het geval van een sterke verkalking naar
SOLIS of een van de door SOLIS erkende service centra.
b.) Bij modellen met een stoomgenerator en veiligheidsvergrendeling
Haal het afgekoelde apparaat van het stroom resp. haal de stekker uit het stopcontact.
Schroef de afsluiter van de stoomgenerator los, meng 500 ml water met 5 flacons
KalStop en vul deze met behulp van de trechter. Sluit de afsluiter van de stoomgenera-
tor weer. Doe de stekker in het stopcontact, zet het apparaat aan en stel de stoomge-
nerator in op stoomstrijken. Laat wat stoom vrijkomen, zodra de stoomgenerator onder
druk. Daarna nog 10 minuten wachten. Dan het apparaat weer uitzetten, de stekker
uit het stopcontact halen en het apparaat 2 uur volledig laten afkoelen. Dan de afsluiter
van de stoomgenerator los maken, water legen en met fris water spoelen, totdat het
water helder is. Aan het eind 100 ml water in de stoomgenerator doen en weer sluiten.
Controleer voor het strijken of de stoom schoon is. Uitleg hierover vindt u in de ge-
bruiksaanwijzing van uw stoomstrijkstation.
LET OP: Gebruik de KalStop FP2003 niet bij modellen met warmtewisselaars en bij con-
ventionele strijkijzers. Niet innemen – bij oogcontact direct met veel water uitspoelen.
Uit de buurt van kinderen houden.
KalStop wordt in een pakket van 20 flacons aangeboden.
