Thank you for choosing one of our products and congratulate
you on this decision. The equipment of our house can be used
locally for many different applications.
In order to use all possible functionality of this unit, we ask you to
comply with all these instructions.
The operating instructions of the device is intended for
technically qualifi ed personnel who has appropriate knowledge in the fi eld
of electrical engineering. The exact information on all safety instructions and
warnings contained in these operating instructions and their proper technical
implementation are a prerequisite for the safe installation, commissioning,
the safe operation and maintenance of devices from Xamalink. For this it is
essential that all steps be carried out by qualifi ed personnel.
The operating instructions are part of the appliance and must be given to the
user and stored carefully. Please read and follow all instructions and safety
information before putting the instrument into operation. Non-compliance
may result in injury to persons and / or damage to the device. All efforts
has been made to ensure that the informations contained in this document
at the time of publication is complete and correct. The right to modify the
information is subject, however.
By connecting and starting up the device, the buyer accepts the general terms
and conditions of Xamalink. He also accepts that the described details are not
guaranteed.
Safety Instructions
Xamalink devices may only be operated in accordance with
the use cases described in the operating instructions. Built-in
appliances may only operate in the proper installation.
Intended Use
The units of Xamalink are built for displaying, processing
and controlling of processes. They must not be used as
single source to avoid dangerous situations on machinery and
equipment.
Installation Notes
ATTENTION! The unit contains ESD sensitive components.
When connecting, pay particular attention to grounding of
person and workplace! Take note for the indicated voltage
ranges and the polarity on the nameplate! For wiring, fl exible
wires with ferrules should be used! Before starting with the installation work,
make sure to switch off the power supply! Installation and modifi cations
may only be performed by properly trained personnel! Devices of Xamalink
must be installed and connected in compliance with the relevant DIN and
VDE standards!
Instructions on disruption, maintenance and repair
The devices do not contain any parts that require maintenance
by the user, unless it is mentioned explicitly in the correspon-
ding user manual. If it can be assumed that safe operation of
the unit is no longer possible, it must be taken out of service
and secured against inadvertent operation immediately. This is particularly the
case,: 1.) if the appliance is visibly damaged; 2.) if the device is no longer fully
functional; 3.) If parts of the device are loose; 4.) If the connection cables show
visible damages.

terschiedliche Anwendungen eingesetzt werden.
Damit Sie die Funktionsvielfalt dieses Gerätes für sich optimal
nutzen können, bitten wir Sie, alle folgenden Hinweise zu be-
achten.
Die Betriebsanleitung des Gerätes wendet sich an technisch qualifi ziertes
Personal, das über entsprechende Kenntnisse auf dem Gebiet der Elektrotech-
nik verfügt. Die genauen Informationen über alle in dieser Betriebsanleitung
enthaltenen Sicherheitshinweise und Warnungen sowie deren einwandfreie
technische Umsetzung sind Voraussetzung für die gefahrlose Installation, die
Inbetriebnahme, den sicheren Betrieb und die Instandhaltung von Geräten aus
dem Haus Xamalink. Dazu ist es unbedingt erforderlich, dass alle Maßnahmen
von qualifi ziertem Personal durchgeführt werden.
Die Bedienungsanleitung ist Bestandteil des Gerätes und muss dem Benutzer
ausgehändigt und sorgfältig aufbewahrt werden. Bitte lesen und befolgen Sie
alle Anweisungen und Sicherheitshinweise, bevor Sie das Gerät in Betrieb neh-
men. Nichtbeachtung kann Verletzungen an Personen und/oder Beschädigun-
gen am Gerät zur Folge haben. Es wurden alle Anstrengungen unternommen,
um sicherzustellen, dass die in diesem Dokument enthaltenen Informationen
zum Zeitpunkt der Veröffentlichung vollständig und richtig sind. Das Recht auf
Änderungen der Informationen bleibt jedoch vorbehalten.
Mit dem Anschluss und der Inbetriebnahme des Gerätes akzeptiert der Käufer
die Allgemeinen Verkaufs- und Lieferbedingungen von Xamalink. Weiterhin

Sicherheitshinweise
Xamalink Geräte dürfen nur gemäß den in der Betriebsanleitung
beschriebenen Einsatzfällen betrieben werden. Einbaugeräte
dürfen nur im sachgemäßen Einbau betrieben werden.
Verwendungszweck
Die Geräte von Xamalink dienen zur Anzeige, Verarbeitung
und Steuerung von Prozessen. Sie dürfen nicht als alleiniges
Mittel zu Abwehr gefährlicher Zustände an Maschinen und
Anlagen eingesetzt werden.
Hinweise zur Installation
ACHTUNG! Das Gerät enthält ESD gefährdete Bauteile. Achten
Sie beim Anschließen auf die Erdung von Mensch und Arbeits-
platz! Achten Sie auf die angegebenen Spannungsbereiche und
die Polarität auf dem Typenschild! Für die Verdrahtung sollten
fl exible Litzen mit Aderendhülsen benutzt werden! Die Spannungsversorgung
ist vor den Installationsarbeiten unbedingt freizuschalten! Anschluss und
Änderungen dürfen nur durch ausgebildetes Elektro-Fachpersonal ausgeführt
werden! Geräte von Xamalink müssen unter Einhaltung der relevanten DIN-
und VDE-Normen installiert und angeschlossen werden!
Hinweise zu Störungen, Instandhaltung und Reparatur
Die Geräte enthalten keine Teile, die vom Anwender gewartet
werden müssen, außer wenn dies in der entsprechenden Be-
dienungsanleitung ausdrücklich erwähnt wird. Ist anzunehmen,
dass ein gefahrloser Betrieb des Gerätes nicht mehr möglich
ist, so ist es unverzüglich außer Betrieb zu setzen und gegen unbeabsichtigten
Betrieb zu sichern. Dies trifft insbesondere zu,: 1.) wenn das Gerät sichtbare
Beschädigungen aufweist; 2.) wenn das Gerät nicht mehr im vollen Umfang
funktionsfähig ist; 3.) wenn Teile des Gerätes lose oder locker sind; 4.) wenn die
Verbindungsleitungen sichtbare Schäden aufweisen.
