• Connect an HDMI cable to the OUTPUT HDMI socket (10) and to the HDMI input of your
output device (e.g. TV or projector).
• Connect further monitors to the OUTPUT DVI (11) und OUTPUT VGA (13) sockets. Use the
OUTPUT DVI AUDIO (12) and OUTPUT VGA AUDIO (14) sockets to render the respective
audio signals. For each connection you will require an audio cable with 3.5 mm jack plug. You
can connect the device to a monitor or computer, etc.
• If you connect a Composite video cinch cable to the OUTPUT CVBS (15) socket for rendering
the video signal, you may select the video format using the PAL (6) or NTSC (7) button.
Connect the OUTPUT L (16) and OUTPUT R (17) sockets using a suitable stereo audio RCA
cable for rendering the audio signals.
• Connect the low voltage plug of the supplied power adapter to the low voltage socket
12 V/DC 2.5A (18). Secure the plug to the housing of the converter using the knurled nut
located on the plug. That way the low voltage plug cannot be disconnected accidentally.
• Connect the power adapter to a suitable power outlet. Use the O/I ON OFF (19) button to turn
on the converter. The LEDs of the activated buttons light up.
• Turn on your SDI device (e.g. surveillance camera) and your output device (e.g. TV or
projector). Select the desired resolution using the 720P / 1080P / 1024X768 / 1920X1200
(2, 3, 4, 5) buttons. The LED of the respective button lights up and the selected resolution
appears in the top left area of the display for approx. 5 seconds.
• Press the BLACK (1) button to switch the output devices/monitors to dark or black mode.
Press the BLACK button again to show the picture signal again.
• Press the O/I ON OFF button to turn off the device after use. Unplug the power adapter from
the wall socket when not using the device for a longer period of time.

Cleaning and care

• Turn off and disconnect the product from the mains before each cleaning.
• Under no circumstances use aggressive cleanings agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical
solutions since these can penetrate the housing or impair functionality.
• Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance
with applicable regulatory guidelines.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
