INTRODUCTION
The pump is carefully inspected and tested to ensure both safety and
operating performance. However, failure to follow the instructions
and warnings in this manual may result in pump damage and/or seri-
ous injury. Be sure to read and save this manual for future reference.
Characteristic For outdoor use.
The pump is to be supplied through a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current
not exceeding 30mA.
Used as submersible pumps (see fig.1)
IMPORTANT: Do not let the pump run dry – this could cause damage to the motor.
- Submerse the pumps completely in your pond so as to make the pump body fill with water.
- A water level of approx. 15 cm (6 in.) is required for submersible use in order to prevent the pump from
taking in air. (See fig.1)
- To prevent the filter becoming prematurely clogged, place the pump above the mud in the pond!
- The pump can be switched on by simply plugging it in and switched off by plugging off.
- The water temperature should not exceed 35° C (95° F) and do not let the pump freeze in the wintertime.
WARNING
- This pump is supplied with a grounding conductor and a grounding type attachment plug. To reduce risk of
electric shock, connect only to a properly grounded outlet.
- Do not remove the grounding pin from the plug.
- Do not connect to any voltage other than that shown on the pump.
- Do not pump flammable liquids.
- A earth fault circuit interrupter be used in the branch circuit supplying fountain pumps and other pond
equipment. See your electrical supplies dealer for this device.
- To reduce the risk of electrical shock, use only on portable self-contained fountains no larger than 2m in
any dimension.
- The pump do not use in the water over than 2m depth.
- Do not use with water above 35° C.
- The maximum total head is 3m (for 5000 series); 4.0m (for 8000 series);5.5 m (for 12000 series).
- The supply cord cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged the appliance should be scrapped.
- The pump is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons without supervision.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
- To reduce the risk of electric shock, be certain that it is connected only to properly grounded, groun-
ding-type receptacle."
CAUTION
Always disconnect from electrical outlet before cleaning the pump.
Don't operate without water.
Do not lift the pump by the power cord.
Automatic shut off if no water for 2 minutes.
Pull the plug out ,and re-insert for resuming work.
For liquids having a temperature not exceeding 35 .
Operate in freshwater only.
Operate pump completely submerged for proper cooling.
Not for swimming pool.

- Automatic shut off if no water for 2 minutes
- Pull the plug out ,and re-insert for resuming work
an environmental friendly and healthy way.
PERFORMANCE
A clogged or dirty intake screen will greatly reduce performance.
If the pump is used on a dirty surface, raise it slightly to reduce the amount of debris contacting the intake.
Do not let the pump run when not submerged in water. Doing so may damage the pump. Always submerge the pump
first, and then plug in the electrical outlet. At the beginning, it probably can't pump water, because there is air in the
pump and the tube. Don't worry about it. Please pull out and insert electrical outlet several times, it will work very well
at once.
The pump is to be supplied through a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding
30mA.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING (SEE FIG 2)
To clean the pump, remove the back cover and the impeller.
Use a small brush or stream of water to remove any debris
1. Follow these safety instructions. Make sure that the pump is unplugged.
2. Press the lower cover buckle(1) and separate the upper cover(4) and lower cover (3).show the body pump (5) (see
figure 3)
3. Screw out the Universal connector.(2)
4. Counterclockwise rotation loosening the Pump housing, Remove the pump housing (6) from motor body (9).
5. Remove the rotor (7) from motor body(9).
6. Clean all parts using water and soft sponge.
Assembling the pump together:
- Place the rotor (7) in motor body (9) with caution.
- Make sure the rotor is assembled correctly and will turn freely and check the position of the sealing ring (8) on the
pump body
- Put the pump housing (6) in the motor body (9)
- Place Body pump(5) and the upper cover (4) on the lower cover (3)(figure2). Make sure that the buckle of the lower
cover must lock the up cover (figure 2).
Overload protection
The pump has a built-in thermal overload trip which prevents the pump from overheating. The pump must be allowed to
cool down before restarting.
CAUTION: The pump shaft can not be removed.
IF THE PUMP FAILS TO OPERATE, CHECK THE FOLLOWING:
- Check the circuit breaker and try another outlet to ensure the pump is getting electrical power. NOTE: Always dis-
connect from electrical outlet before handling the pump.
- Check the pump discharge and tubing for kinks and obstructions. Algae build up can be flushed out with a garden hose.
- Check the inlet to ensure it is not clogged with debris.
- Remove the pump inlet to access the impeller area. Turn the rotor to ensure it is not broken or jammed.
- Monthly maintenance will add to your pump's life. NOTE: Ensure that the electrical cord loops below the electrical
outlet to form a "Drip Loop" This will prevent water from running down the cord into the electrical outlet.
DISPOSAL: Do not dispose this product as unsorted municipal waste. Collection of such waste separately for special
treatment is necessary.
