To obtain best possible reception, unwind the antenna completely and align it properly. For MW reception
the required antenna is integrated in the device. To optimize the reception, place the device in an appropri-
ate area or turn it around until the reception is satisfying.
•
Set the FUNCTION switch (13) to RADIO.
•
Slide the BAND switch (14) to the desired position (AM, FM, FM St (stereo)).
•
Use the TUNING wheel (17) to tune the band to find the desired radio station.

FM Stereo:
•
When a FM ST (stereo) station is tuned in, the STEREO LED lights up.
•
When the station's signal is not strong enough for stereo reception, the LED goes off. In this case,
it might be useful, to slide the BAND switch to FM.
•
Slide the FUNCTION switch (13) to CD.
•
Open the CD tray and insert a CD with the printed side facing up. Then close the CD tray lid.

Repeat and Random Modes
Press MODE repeatedly to toggle the repeat and random play modes REPEAT (current track will be repea-
ted) - REPEAT ALL (all CD tracks will be repeated) - RANDOM (contained tracks will be played in random
order). Press again for normal mode.
Programming a playlist

Insert a CD and press PROG. "P 01" appears on the display and the PROG LED starts flashing.

Choose the desired track, using

Now, "P 02" is displayed, indicating you can now add the second track to your playlist. Repeat the
procedure until all desired tracks are added to your playlist.

to start the playlist.
The playlist playback will be stopped (=cancelled) when STOP is pressed twice, or the FUNCTION switch is
set to another position, or the CD tray lid is opened (or the device is switched off).
