1 .The motherboard or the controller card must support SAS interface in order to use SAS hard drive or SSD.

2. SAS is backward compatible with SATA devices. Therefore, you can use SATA HDD/SSD
with the MB982IP-1S-1. However, you cannot connect the MB982IP-1S-1 to the SATA
port due to the difference between the SAS and the SATA connector. For SATA application,
we recommend MB982SP-1S.
SAS ist abwärtskompatibel zu SATA. Daher können Sie SATA-Laufwerke in dem MB982IP-1S-1
verwenden. Allerdings kann das MB982IP-1S-1 durch unterschiedliche Stecker-Spezifikationen
zwischen SAS und SATA nicht an SATA-Ports angeschlossen werden. Für SATA-Systeme
empfehlen wir das Modell MB982SP-1S.
Le connecteur SAS est rétrocompatible avec les périphériques SATA. Par conséquent, vous pouvez
