Confirm the adapter is connected to a router/AP: the SSID and its IP address should be
shown on the TV screen.
Connect smart device to the router/AP that adapter connected.
Turn on the Webpage browser of your smart device.
Input the IP address (Shown on the TV screen) in the address bar to login the setting page of
the adapter.
Change setting from present client- to Access-Point-mode, confirm the settings by pressing
OK.
After a while, you can see on the TV screen that WLAN network has been successfully
switched from client mode to AP mode again.
Quit the webpage browser.
Reconnect smart device to adapter AP as described above.
The adapter device uses DLNA sharing technology.
The DLNA is some kind of digital technology that allow movies, music, photos, and pictures to
be easily sent from a digital device to other different brand name devices. Before you can use
the DLNA function, you have to set up a wireless network to let digital devices connect with.
After your smart device has been connected to the wireless network that the adapter connected
by its wireless AP mode or wireless client mode, you are ready to use the DLNA technology to
share media files from your smart device to the TV set.
To share movies, music, photos, and pictures from your device to the TV set, you need some
software which supports DLNA function.
In the next section, we briefly describe some applications' setup procedures of DLNA media
sharing. Please be noted, there are many new kinds of software coming out, so it isn't possible
to make a recommendation.
Make sure your windows system has "Windows media Player 11 or later version" installed.
Tips: Windows Media Player 12 is built in windows7/8 OS, it is recommended for better
compatibility. If you are using Windows XP, please update to Window Media Player 11.
Open "Windows Media Player", click "Stream" tab, and then turn on media streaming...
In the new window, click "Turn on media streaming"
A new window come out, the media sharing devices connected with the PC are listed. You
should find the name of the adapter, click "Allowed" status.
Use the right mouse button to select Media file to play by the adapter:
