OPERATING
PRECAUTIONS
1) This
unit does
not operate
indepen-
dently.
Use it in combination with a
stereo power
amplifier, cassette deck,
etc., sold separately.
2) When
the
equalizer
is being
used,
keep
the
bass
and
treble
control
knobs at the neutral position.
3) As
a=
safety
precaution,
keep
the
volume
at a level
where
the
sound
outside the car is audible.
PRECAUTIONS
FOR
CONNECTING
WIRES
1) Make
sure
that the unit is properly
grounded
to prevent
noise.
If the
ground
is to
be furnished
between
units,
pull
off the
tip of the earth
cord (852-5115-00) as shown below.

2) Keep the DIN
cord to the amplifier
or that from the cassette deck or tuner
away
from
the
harness
of the car
as much as possible to prevent noise.
