Automatic self-test
The automatic self-tests offers the following functions:
- daily self-test
- monthly / annual self-test
- manual self-test
Daily self-test:
The daily self-test checks, whether the battery is correctly installed or if there are functional problems.
LED lights green: Battery is fully functional
LED flashes red 1x every 3 seconds: Battery is not connected or is without function . The red LED is flashing until the
Monthly / annual self-test
During the self-test, the luminaire starts to light by itself until the self-test has been completed.
The duration of the monthly self-test is 10 minutes and the duration of the annual self-test is 3 hours.

Manual self-test:
The test button offers the following functions:
1. pressing the test button once: The start time for the self-test will be reset.
2. pressing the test button for 3 seconds:
the luminaire changes automatically into the self-test mode for 5 minutes. The test-procedure of
the manual self-test complies with the test procedure of the monthly self-test.
General functions of the self-test:
- checks the light source for any functional problems:
green LED: lights after the self-test, if the luminaire is working properly.
red LED: flashes 2x every 3 seconds,if the light source doesn`t work properly.
The red LED is flashing until the problem is completly solved.
- checks the capacity of the battery (3 hours):
green LED: lights after the self-test if the battery has enough capacity.
red LED: flashes 3x every 3 seconds, if the battery capacity is too less.
The red LED is flashing until the problem is completly solved.
The luminaire needs to be placed with minimum distance 0,1m
