Vorbereitung:
− Reinigen Sie das Rohr um die Schadenstelle herum von Verschmutzungen
− Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Rohraussendurchmesser dem angegebenen
Spann bereich der Dichtschelle entspricht
− Gummimanschette und Rohr sollten mit Seifenwasser angefeuchtet werden.
Mischungsverhältnis (1:5 Seife:Wasser)
Montage:
1. Muttern bis zu den roten Gewindeschutzkappen zurückdrehen (nicht ganz abdre-
hen). Ziehen Sie die Edelstahlbrücke hoch und biegen Sie die Schelle auseinander.
Platzieren Sie die Schelle über dem Rohr. (Foto 1).
2. Haken Sie die Brücke in die Easygrip-Aussparung der Seitenstege (Foto 2). Ziehen
Sie danach die Brücke weiter hoch, so dass die Brücke auf den Enden der Seiten-
stege aufliegt (Foto 3).
3. Nehmen Sie einen Maulschlüssel und legen Sie diesen in die Easygrip-Aussparung
der Seitenstege (Foto 4). Greifen Sie gleichzeitig den Maulschlüssel und den unte-
ren Steg der Schelle und ziehen Sie diese zusammen. Sie können die Brücke nun
ganz leicht zu ihrer entgültigen Position hochziehen. Die Muttern können nun ganz
leicht von Hand angedreht werden. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Gummimanschette
sauber auf dem Rohr anliegt.
4. Nehmen Sie den Maulschlüssel aus der Easygrip Aussparung und drehen Sie
die Muttern gleichmäßig handfest. Drehen Sie nun die Muttern mit einem Dreh-
momentschlüssel gleichmäßig fest (einen speziellen für die langen Bolzen
geeigneten Steckschlüssel kann über uns bestellt werden) bei M12 und M14 bis
70 Nm und 120 Nm für M16 für Stahl-, Guss- und Faserzementleitungen. Für PVC-
Leitungen darf der Anzugsmoment nur ca. 50 Nm betragen. Nach einer Wartezeit
von ca. 15–20 Minuten die Muttern nochmal mit dem selben Drehmoment anziehen.
Für PE-Rohr beachten Sie bitte folgende Angaben:
Überprüfen Sie noch einmal, ob die Baulänge der Schelle richtig berechnet ist.
Nach dem ersten handfesten Anziehen der Muttern werden die Muttern mit einem
Drehmoment von 70 Nm bei M12 und M14 und 120 Nm für M16 angezogen.
Danach 15 Minuten warten und wiederholen. Nach einer erneuten Wartezeit von
15 Minuten noch einmal wiederholen. Falls möglich nach 24 Stunden Wartezeit die
Muttern noch einmal nachziehen auf das richtige Drehmoment.
5. Für mehrteilige Reparaturschellen und/oder Reparaturschellen mit Gewinde- oder
Flanschabgang kann nach dem selben Prinzip vorgegangen werden. Bei diesen
Varian ten ist es nicht nötig, mehr als eine Seite der Schelle zu öffnen.
Achtung:
− Sorgen Sie dafür, dass sich zwischen Rohr und der Edelstahlschelle keine
Ver un reinigungen befinden.
− Trotz der teflonbeschichteten Bolzen und der gelb passivierten Muttern muss
der Verschluss so sauber wie möglich gehalten werden, um ein Festfressen der
Muttern und Bolzen zu verhindern.
– Die Montageschritte 1 bis 3 können auch neben der Schadenstelle ausgeführt
werden. Danach kann die vormontierte Schelle nachträglich über die beschädigte
Stelle geschoben und gemäß Schritt 4 fixiert werden.
Preparation:
− Scrape and clean pipe to remove dirt and corrosion and ensure pipe surface is
smooth.
− Check the diameter of pipe and the tolerance of the repair clamp.
− A little soap and water (1:5) should be applied to facilitate gasket seal. Do not use
grease or oil based lubricants.

Installation:
1. Back off the nuts to the red protection caps (do not remove them). Release the
handbars, open the clamp and position the clamp on the pipe (photo 1.).
2. Hook the handbar behind the Easygrip opening (photo 2.) than lift the handbar
further up so it will be positioned on top of the fingers (photo 3.).
3. Now take your open-ended spanner, Ring spanner or Box-end wrench and position
it in the Easygrip opening (photo 4.) By putting force in the spanner or wrench it is
now very easy to position the handbar behind the fingers and tighten the nuts with
one hand. Please note that the gasket seals the pipe evenly.
4. Take the wrench out of the Easygrip opening and Tighten the nuts evenly by hand.
Now tighten the nuts with an appropriate torque wrench (for this you can use our
special socket that can be ordered at your local dealer) to approximately 70 Nm
for M12 and M14 and 120 Nm for M16 on steel, cast iron and AC pipes. For PVC
pipes use approximately 50 Nm. Wait for about 15-20 minutes and then tighten
the bolts again to the same torque setting.
For installations on PE-pipes please take into account following:
After evenly tightening the nuts by hand, tighten them with an appropriate torque
wrench at 70 Nm for M12 & M14 and 120 Nm for M16. Wait for 15 minutes and
tighten again at the same Torque. Repeat this once more after 15 minutes. If it is
possible do this again after waiting for 24 hours.
5. For repair clamps consisting out of more than one section and/or repair clamps
with flanges or outlets the same, above mentioned, principle can be maintained.
It is not necessary to open more that one side.
Precautions:
− Ensure that pipe surface is smooth and clean.
− Ensure that clamp and bolts are free of dirt.
– Steps 1, 2 and 3 may be carried out on the pipe, next to the break. Then slide the
clamp over the break and installed in accordance to step 4.
Préparation:
− Gratter et nettoyer la canalisation pour retirer toute trace de saleté et de corrosion;
vérifier que la surface de la canalisation est lisse.
– Contrôler le diamètre de la canalisation et la tolérance du manchon de réparation.
– Enduire la canalisation d'une solution d'eau savonneuse (1:5) pour faciliter la mise
en place du manchon. Ne pas utiliser de lubrifiant à base de graisse ou d'huile.
Installation:
1. Reculer les écrous sur les capuchons de protection rouges (ne pas les enlever). Libérer
les barres, ouvrir le manchon et positionner le manchon sur la canalisation (photo 1).
2. Accrocher la barre derrière l'ouverture Easygrip (photo 2) puis lever la barre afin de
la positionner sur les doigts (photo 3).
3. Prendre la clé à extrémité ouverte, la clé polygonale ou la clé polygonale et la
placer dans l'ouverture Easygrip (photo 4). En exerçant une certaine force sur la
clé, il est maintenant très facile de positionner la barre derrière les doigts et de
serrer les écrous d'une main. Veuillez noter que le joint statique assure l'étanchéité
de la canalisation de façon régulière.
4. Sortir la clé de l'ouverture Easygrip et serrer les écrous à la main en appliquant
une force égale. Serrer les écrous avec la clé dynamométrique appropriée (à ces
fins, vous pouvez utiliser notre douille spéciale qui peut être commandée auprès
de votre représentant local) à environ 70 Nm pour M12 et M14 et 120 Nm pour
M16 sur des canalisations en acier, en fonte et en amiante-ciment. Pour les
canalisations en PVC, appliquer environ 50 Nm. Attendre environ 15 à 20 minutes
puis serrer à nouveau les boulons au même couple.
