Note: Never use the torque wrench to undo nuts, bolts or
other fasteners as this will damage the ratchet mechanism and
the calibrated settings.

Setting torque in Nm
Example: Setting the torque wrench to 14 Nm:
1. Undo the handle locking screw.
2. Set the torque wrench to
13 Nm.

4. 1 gradation on the handle = 0.1 Nm. 10 gradations = 1.0 Nm.
13 + 1.0 = 14 Nm.
5. Lock the handle using the locking screw.
Setting torque in in-lb
Example: Setting the torque wrench to 69.92 in-lb:
1. Undo the handle locking screw.

Calibration
The torque wrench is a precision instrument. It needs
calibrating regularly if it is to function properly and accurately.
We recommend that the wrench is calibrated at least every
12 months or more frequently depending on how often it is used.

Tighten with slow and even force. You can feel a click
in the handle once the desired torque setting has been
reached. The clicking sensation is much less noticeable
at lower settings than at higher torque settings when
the chosen torque is reached. Experiment with both high
and low settings so you get a feel for the wrench.
Never continue tightening once the desired torque setting
has been reached.
Never twist the handle outside the respective torque setting
ranges: 5–25 Nm, 44.3–221.3 in-lb.
Always refer to the manufacturer's recommended torque
settings and tightening sequences.
Set the wrench to its lowest setting when not in use.
The torque wrench should be treated as a precision tool.
Handle it carefully and store it in an area where there is no
risk of it sustaining damage.
