VAULT C SMART WIRELESS
USING THE VAULT C SMART WIRELESS TO CHARGE POWER A USB C COMPATIBLE DEVICE:
1. Connect your device to an appropriate USB-C cable*.
2. Attach the remaining end of the USB-C cable to your Vault C-Smart Wireless.
3. The Vault C-Smart Power Delivery technology
will communicate with the attached device and
negotiate the appropriate voltage and current for
optimum performance.
4. Your device is now charging. Upon full charge and
depending on the device connected, the Vault C-Smart
will a) automatically turn off OR b) continue to
negotiate with the connected device and supply
appropriate power on demand. It is recommended
that the device to be charged is disconnected
promptly upon displaying a full charge.
*Note 1: to use the USB Power Delivery functionality,
a dedicated USB-C Power Delivery compatible cable
is required.
Note 2: do not attempt to charge another USB-C PD enabled powerbank with the
Vault C-Smart Wireless.
Note 3: when using a standard 5V USB-C cable that is not Power Delivery enabled,
if charging fails to commence please disconnect and reconnect the cable from the
USB-C port of the Vault C-Smart Wireless.
USING THE VAULT C SMART WIRELESS TO CHARGE POWER A 5V USB A COMPATIBLE DEVICE:
1. Connect your device to an appropriate USB cable.
2. Attach the remaining end of the USB cable to your Vault C-Smart Wireless.
3. The Vault C-Smart Wireless will detect the attached
device and automatically supply the appropriate 5V
current for optimum performance.
4. Your device is now charging. The Vault
C-Smart Wireless will automatically turn off
when a) the device is unplugged or b) when
the device is fully charged and no longer
draws a current. Note: some devices,
notably mobile phones, continue to draw a
small current when displaying a full charge.
In this instance the C-Smart Wireless will not
automatically turn off. It is recommended that
the device to be charged is disconnected
promptly upon displaying a full charge.
NEVER connect the other output ports of the
Vault C-Smart Wireless to the USB-C port, not
even momentarily. Doing so may void your
warranty, permanently damage your device and
may lead to fire and/or explosion.
