Main installation and best position
During the first use of the product, place the product in a place with sufficient direct
sunlight for first charging at a minimum time for 2~3 days in the OFF switch position!
When the sky is overcast, this period should be extended. When the lamp is in a
location that receives less sunlight, it will operate for fewer hours per night. Night
lighting time can also vary depending on how bright the sky is on any given day.
Insufficient charging of the battery will affect performance and may result in the fact
that the lamp goes off before dawn because the battery was not fully charged.
The solar panel is best directed as much as possible towards the south in order to
maximize exposure to direct sunlight. Please note that the four different seasons
(and the light angle in these four different seasons) can affect the lighting time of
the lamp. The solar light will work longer in summer then during winter time and will
make the solar panel charge the internal battery less, or even not at all, than during
summer time. Your solar lights will produce more hours of operation when installed
in an area which is free from cover, shade or shadowing. Due to low sunlight
intensity, and severe weather such as cloudy rain in autumn and cloudy snow in
winter, the total lighting time in these months will be reduced. Select a location
that is not located close to other light sources, such as for example street lighting,
because this enables the lamp to be switched off automatically. Maximum lighting
time depends on sunlight and daytime charging. Minimum charging time is 6 ~ 12
hours in direct sunlight. If snow or ice is on top of the solar panel please remove it at
all time's so the battery can be charged correctly by the panel.
Note: During winter time or when the sunshine duration is short, it is suggested
to switch to power OFF and charge when sunlight is available before power ON
again (number 4).
