Generell: Bitte führen Sie das Gerät nach Ablauf der Gebrauchszeit entsprechend zertifizierten Entsorgern zu. Diese sorgen dafür, dass
das Ladegerät gemäß den gesetzlichen Richtlinien entsorgt wird. Damit schonen Sie die Umwelt und tragen einen
wertvollen Teil zum aktiven Umweltschutz bei.
Batterieverordnung: Lieber Kunde, Sie haben bei uns ein akkubetriebenes Produkt gekauft. Die Lebensdauer des
Akkus ist zwar sehr lang, trotzdem muss er irgendwann einmal entsorgt werden. Altbatterien dürfen nicht in den
Hausmüll. Verbraucher sind gesetzlich verpflichtet, Batterien zu einer geeigneten Sammelstelle zu bringen. Altbatterien
enthalten wertvolle Rohstoffe, die wieder verwertet werden. Sie können Ihre gebrauchten Batterien auch schicken an:

INSTRUCTION
Function:
There is a battery inside the light tower which is charged via a solar panel on the roof. If it gets dark, an LED automatically switches on,
and this becomes steadily brighter or darker, simulating a real beacon light. This is facilitated by a processor control system. If it becomes
light again, the model switches itself off and the LED goes out. The Starlight light tower is very good as a night light or as a 'decorative
lighting element where is accent lighting is desired at night-time.
To ensure the longevity of the kit, the model has a special LiFePO4 battery, which is characterized by its extremely long life. This is made
possible by an assembled electronic circuit, which monitors the charging and discharging of the battery via process control via process
control. This ensures trouble-free operation for many years.
Recharging the battery correctly:
The Starlight solar light tower prefers a sunny place to charge the battery. The best option here is to place the model in a sunny
spot on the south side of the apartment or on the covered balcony or terrace. In the evening, the model can then be placed where it
is to be used.
Bridging periods of bad weather:
As always with solar technology (photovoltaics) the solar module used requires direct sunlight to recharge the battery rapidly with energy.
Of course, even if the weather is bad the module will still charge, but only to a fraction of the possible solar cell performance.
Therefore, it is possible with continued bad weather that the LED of the light tower might not begin to light up. In this case it is advisable
to turn off the light tower at the switch and to place the model in the direct sunlight for at least a day.
Tips for assembling the light tower:
1) To ensure the surfaces of the wood parts are nice and smooth, they should be sanded down with the supplied sandpaper
on both sides.
2) On the red marked glue points wood glue is to be applied. Pay particular care to use only a small amount of glue.
The motto here: Less is more!
! WARNING ! The model must not be exposed to moisture such as rain or snow!

When inserting the batteries it is essential to ensure the correct polarity! The electronics can be destroyed by the
reverse polarity of the battery!
Only the battery supplied with the kit may be used! Using other types of battery or batteries can cause malfunctions
and in the worst case destroy the electronics unit.

Troubleshooting:
1) If the LED does not turn on automatically (after the assembly of the model)
- Main switch turned on?
- Check the connectors on the board
- Check the polarity of the battery
- Recharge the battery in the sun
2) If the LED does not turn on automatically (in normal operation)
- Recharge the battery in the sun
