THE PRODUCT
This DC power pack is designed
to provide track power to small
LGB layouts with one or two loco-
motives. This power pack fea-
tures::
- house current input
- maximum 20 volt DC, 1 amp
output
- built-in speed/direction control
- quick-connect terminals
- electronic overload protection
THE PROGRAMM
This power pack is part of the
LGB/Lehmann program of G-
scale trains and accessories. To
connect this power pack to your
layout, we recommend:
- 50160 Track Power Cable
If your layout also requires AC
power for accessories, we recom-
mend:
- 51080 AC Transformer, 220 V,
18 V, 0.5 A

OPERATION
Preparation
Connect the power pack to the
layout using the red and blue ter-
minals on the rear of the power
pack. Push each terminal in
slightly, and insert the connecting
wire into the hole on the top of the
terminal.
Plug the power pack cord into a
house current outlet.
Speed/Direction Control
The knob on the face of the power
pack is a combination speed and
direction control.
When the knob is in the "center
off" position, the locomotive will
stop. Turn the knob to the right,
and the loco will travel in one
direction. Turn the knob to the left,
and the loco will travel in the
opposite direction. The further
you turn the knob, right or left, the
faster the loco will travel.
Multi-Train System
This power pack can be used with
the LGB/Lenz Multi-Train System.
However, it will only provide
enough power to operate one or
two locomotives at the same time.
The actual number of locos you
can operate depends on the
power requirements of those
locos.
To use this power pack with the
Multi-Train System, connect the
power pack to the Central Station,
turn the speed/directioin control
to the highest position (4) and
plug the power pack cord into a
house current outlet.
Overload Protection
This power pack is equipped with
primary and secondary overload
protection against short circuits
and overheating. If the power
pack is overloaded, this device
will turn the power pack cord from
the house current outlet immedia-
tely:
1. Short circuits: Find and remove
the short circuit. Reconnect the
power pack cord.
2.Overheating: Wait several mi-
nutes for the power pack to
cool. Reconnect the power pack
cord. Operate fewer locomoti-
ves with the power pack.
