INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
SWITCH FUNCTIONS
Positive on probe -
Negative on probe -
Polarity check -
TESTING TRAILER LIGHTS
Connect to power via lighter socket or battery clips provided.
Attach earth clip to trailer earth
Push switch for positive potential
Test points as required
TESTING FOR VOLTAGES
Connect to power via lighter socket or battery clips provided.
Attach earth clip to an earth
Apply probe to point
Red LED = Positive
Test points as required
TO ENERGISE COMPONENTS
Connect to power via lighter socket or battery clips provided.
Apply probe to positive point of component
Use ground lead to apply ground
Push switch forward
TO CHECK CONTINUITY
Connect to power via lighter socket or battery clips provided.
Apply probe to one end
Apply ground lead to other end
LED on = continuity
ENERGISING COMPONENTS OUT OF VEHICLES
Connect to power via lighter socket or battery clips provided.
Apply probe to positive point
Apply ground lead to other end
Push switch forward
If good, component will operate
Push switch forward
Push switch backwards
Don´t press switch
