ANWENDUNGSGEBIET:
Die Kabelverschraubungen MAXIblock der Serie
4900/4901 mit metrischem und PG-Gewinde eignen
sich für explosionsgefährdete Umgebungen, in denen
Gase oder brennbare Stäube der Kategorie 2 vorhan-
den sind (Zone 1 und 21, daher auch für Zone 2 und
22 geeignet); Schutzarten:
- Ex eb IIC,"Erhöhte Sicherheit eb", EPL Gb Geräte-
gruppe II, bei Vorhandensein von Gas.
- Ex tb IIIC, „Schutz durch Gehäuse tb", EPL Db Geräte-
gruppe III, bei Vorhandensein von Stäuben.
Die Art und Größe der Kabelverschraubungen müssen
an die einzelnen Leitungen angepasst werden. Deren
Durchmesser wird durch die Werte in der Tabelle 1
bestimmt.

• Einsatztemperatur: - 20°C bis + 75°C
• Körper und Überwurfmutter: Polyamid PA 6.6

Die Kabelverschraubungen mit metrischem und PG-
Gewinde und/oder ihre kleinsten Verpackungen sind
wie folgt gekennzeichnet:

Ein Einsatz von Kabelverschauben, die eine andere
Kennzeichnung besitzen, ist nicht durch dieses Zer-
tifikat abgedeckt.
Bei Missachtung dieser Vorschrift verfällt die Herstel-
lerhaftung.

APPLICATION:
MAXIblock type 4900/4901 cable glands with metric and
Pg threads are designed for fixed installations of cables
in explosive atmospheres with the presence of gas or
combustible dust; category 2 (zones 1 and 21, therefore
also zones 2 and 22);
type of protection:
- Ex eb IIC, "Increased Safety eb", EPL Gb, device group II
in presence of gas.
- Ex tb IIIC "Protection by enclosure tb", EPL Db device
group III, in presence of powders.
Each type and size of cable gland must only be used with
conductors whose diameters are within its specific range
as defined in Table 1.
