Revo Sway Bar Installation Instructions
Note: This sway bar kit requires relocation of the stock rear bumper.
Traxxas Wing Mount #5411 and Wing (#5412, 5446, or 5446G) are
required to relocate the bumper and allow interference free rear
sway bar operation.
Front Sway Bar Installation
1. Locate front sway bar (black or silver,
see Adjustment for more), front sway bar
mount, 3x23mm button-head cap screws,
3x8mm button-head cap screw, 3x4mm
set screws and front (long) linkages.
2. Insert sway bar into sway bar mount
groove and press sway
bar mount onto shock
mount as shown (A).
Secure the mount
using the supplied
3x8mm button-head
cap screw (B).
3. Remove the two
3x15mm button-head
cap screws that connect
the shocks to the rockers.
4. Locate the front sway bar
links. Screw the included
3x23mm button-head cap
screws through the front
hollow ball inserts, each
shock and rocker arm (C).
5. Locate two 3x4mm set screws and
insert them into the sway bar mount
holes to contact the sway bar (D).
The screws should be tightened
until they contact the sway bar. Do
not over tighten! They are intended
to take "play" out of the sway bar
assembly. The sway bar must rotate
freely and not bind.
6. Slide the adjustable hollow ball over
the sway bar to approximately ¼"
from the tip of the sway bar, and
tighten the set screw (E).
Revo 2.5 Chassis Note: If installing into a Revo 2.5 chassis, the
servo wires will need to be routed over the top of the transmission
away from the brake disc and zip-tied into place.
E-Revo Note: When installing the front sway bar linkages on an
E-Revo (Model 5605 or 5608), the front linkages must be shortened
completely to prevent interference with the transmission housing.
Tighten the front linkages until the rod ends "bottom out" to
achieve the proper length for E-Revo.

Rear Sway Bar Installation
1. Locate the rear sway bar, rear sway
bar mount, 6x10mm washer, 3x20mm
button-head cap screws, rear linkages,
drill guide and 2.5mm drill bit.
2. Remove the tuned
pipe and header, and
rear bumper assembly
to gain access to the
rear rockers and allow
installation of the rear
sway bar.
3. Remove the 3x15mm
button-head cap screws
from the bulkhead tie bars
(F). Insert sway bar into sway
bar mount and attach to the
bulkhead tie bar using the
included 3x20mm button-
head cap screws (G).
4. Remove the two
3x15mm and one
4x6mm button-head
cap screws from each
rear rocker arm, and
remove the rocker (H).
5. Remove the rear rocker posts (I) and install one 6x10x2mm washer
onto each rocker post, thread side (J). Reinstall the posts.
Drilling the lower rear rockers
It is important that the
lower rockers be properly
drilled. Do not drill the top
rocker halves. The included
drill guide is compatible
with Traxxas P1, P2 and P3
progressive rockers. Simply
line up the letters on the
drill guide with the letters
on each lower rocker half
to determine the drilling
location (indicated by the
arrow next to the letters).
This is very important, see
image above (image shows P2 rocker).
6. Separate the rocker arm tops from the
bottoms. Secure the drill guide onto the
inside of the left lower rocker using two
3x15mm button-head cap screws (K),
and drill a hole through the lower rocker
half using the included 2.5mm drill bit
(L). Repeat this process for the right
lower rocker.
7. With the holes drilled, install the ball
stud of each link onto the outside
(underside) of each bottom rocker using
a 2.5mm hex wrench (M).
8. Reinstall the modified rear rockers with sway bar links onto the
rocker posts and secure them by reinstalling the 3x15mm and
4x6mm button-head cap screws (N).
