9-HOLE CORDING FOOT

This foot enables you to attach up to 9 cords
together by threading the cords through the 9
holes of the foot.
Use soft cords (Diameter approximately 1 mm).
Caution
Make sure to press the Lockout key when
attaching and detaching the foot.
For models without the Lockout key, turn the
power switch off when attaching and detaching
the foot.
Please refer to your machine's instruction
manual for presser foot attachment and removal
information.
Make sure to test sewing first.
Machine setting:
Stitch patterns: Multiple zigzag stitch or Quilt
stitches.
Stitch width: 9
Sewing speed: Low to middle
To prepare:
Use the needle threader from the bottom of the
foot for threading the cords through the 9 holes of
the foot.
* Bend the needle threader wire for easier
threading.
Sewing:
1. Place the fabric under the foot holder.
2. Attach the foot with inserted 9 cords.
* Pull the cords approximately 1 inch (2 cm
behind the presser foot.
* Pull the needle thread under and to the left
of the foot so as not to tangle the thread with
the cords.
* Arrange the cords in the front of the foot so
as not to tangle the cords.
3. Sew while guiding the fabric and cords so as
not to tangle the front cords.

Needle threader
Pour les modèles de machines sans bouton de
Enfile-aiguille
verrouillage, coupez le contact lorsque vous fixez ou
retirez un accessoire.
Référez-vous au manuel d'instruction de votre
machine à coudre pour toutes les informations
concernant la fixation et le changement du pied-de-
biche.
Assurez-vous de commencer par un test de couture.
Préparation de la machine:
Motif de point: Point zigzag multiple ou points de
matelassage.
Largeur de point: 9
Vitesse de couture: Lente à moyenne
Pour préparer:
Utilisez l'enfile-aiguille depuis le bas du pied afin
d'enfiler les cordonnets à travers les 9 trous de ce
dernier.
* Pliez le fil métallique de l'enfile-aiguille pour un
enfilage facilité.
Pour coudre:
1. Placez le tissu sous le porte-pied.
2 Fixez le pied avec les 9 cordonnets insérés.
* Tirez les cordonnets à environ 2 cm (1
pouce) derrière le pied-de-biche.
* Tirez le fil de l'aiguille en-dessous et à
gauche du pied afin de ne pas emmêler le fil
avec les cordonnets.
* Disposez les cordonnets à l'avant du pied
afin de ne pas les emmêler.
3. Cousez en guidant le tissu et les cordonnets
en veillant à ne pas emmêler les cordonnets à
l'avant.
